Burn,
I was not wrong with the statement I made, but I admit I could have said “very little.”
Same difference though.
Nothing would have been done had Seibertron not been gracious enough to shut down the operation based on the evidence
I provided.
The same type of evidence I provided
you when you asked for proof during our personal exchange about the Sharkticons.
Which, might I add again,
is a class unique unto itself, just like the Allicon, (which one of these guys also
had formatted.) and who also have their
own unique Bite tactic, which we still don’t know much about because it was
experimental.
You keep mentioning pictures, but pictures don’t come with abilities that don’t exist anywhere else in the game at this present moment, and no other Decepticon can recreate.
With all due respect, Burn, and I
really mean that, I shouldn’t have to suggest things to you.
When I provide you with the objective, fact-based proof that you demand of me, on more than one occasion, and involving the same person who was discussed on the previous occasion, the “look at who’s presenting this to me” approach shouldn’t overshadow the “let’s actually look at what’s being presented here” approach.
You could have taken the opportunity I provided to address the player, publicly, and ask them what they were doing to create this effect.
Just like I suggested in the same thread.
Just like Seibertron did in his own thread.
And you see, the outlawed schematics were revealed, and it was fixed. (Again, apparently.)
Problem solved. And it could have happened in an entirely different manner had you not held a personal bias against me.
Talk is talk, Burn. So simply
asking a player to “change a picture”
is doing nothing about the
fact that a player was manipulating the game.
I will say this again:
You did nothing about the fact that a player was manipulating the game, and very little to investigate the issue thoroughly.Which you had
objective proof was happening, but refused to look at.
Do you need a reminder?
I can't **** believe this ****.
I read part of this crap, but I didn't bother finishing it.
Those are your own words.
You did more to figure out how much experience Kup had than you did to figure out how players were getting Sharkticons.
Are you going to accept that?
You mentioned the exploit as being something that was a thing
years ago that you though had been patched up.
Given that information, isn’t it clear to you now that this was, indeed, an exploit?
You mentioned in Iacon that what the Autobots were doing (corresponding with one another through pm, because there was no access to Iacon at that point) was akin to “the garbage that was going on in the AWC days” when “Autobots were encouraged to cheat.”
Yet, there was never even an
inkling of any cheating happening on the Autobot side in this day and age, just noobs overexcited about something new and awesome, and then concerned when they were suddenly getting slaughtered by Decepticons wielding weapons that were only ever created as test subjects and there were only ever 4 of in this entire game.
To be specific, I’m referring to the green and black lightsaber ordeal. Where a player, who happens to be the same one who was exploiting the game, asked you in private to restock those specific lightsabers.
There is absolutely no problem what that, specifically, but the problem lies in the fact that when an Autobot player made a post in Iacon, rallying the troops in response to the Sharkticon/lightsaber invasion, you slaughtered them in your post, and they were only
roleplaying about something that was
actually happening.
And you know what the worst part about the whole thing is? You talked about being worried about “AWC garbage” happening amongst Autobots who know
absolutely nothing about the mechanics of this game, while at the
exact same time, players wearing the Renegade
Decepticon Dissident insignia, and know “so much more about the game” than everyone else, were actively exploiting the game.
Which you did
nothing about.
Asking a question requires 0 effort, and I put all the personal effort in to investigate the issue myself.
All you had to do was your diligent duty, which was confronting the exploiter, instead of threatening to ban the person who exposed the tampering.
Moving on,
You have an extremely valid point regarding the trash talk; but you’re missing one key and very differentiating factor: when we talked trash to one another back in the day, and even in the opening posts of this very thread, it was game related and there was never an attack on another player’s person or personal character.
We kept it in-game, on topic and in missions/forums.
You know that - and it’s why you allowed it to happen back in the day. And when/if we crossed the line, you slapped us straight, both bot and con, and everything was back to the crack-fu.
Also, and I thought you would’ve noticed this, I have toned down
a lot since 2012.
I’ve also posted
very few times since 2012, and I
definitely don’t use the type of language I used to use on here anymore.
So you claiming that I have mocked, abused, flamed or whatever else, Decepticon players for years, is an outright over exaggeration and an extreme stretch of the truth.
You know that.
I’m a changed bot, and it’s a shame that you haven’t noticed.
Regarding Wingz’s challenge, I took the week off the boards and opted out of it because after Seibertron addressed the issue, I knew the exploiter would be upset, and I didn’t want my presence turning things nasty again for Wingz’s first real challenge as an Autobot.
Wingz knew that I would be there for support, and I did exactly as I’d promised.
But with the target I had on my back, I knew I’d do Wingz’s cause more harm than good.
So, In essence, I did the Autobots a
favor by enacting radio silence and digging into the trenches to support them. I can’t help it if it pissed off everyone.
Hell, I piss off everyone when I open my mouth and I piss off everyone when I shut it the hell up.
What do you lot want from me?
If it’s to leave the game, you might as well ban me right now, Burn.
I would respect it, understand it and you would never hear from or about me again.
You have my word.
But before any of that takes place, I have to be 100% right now:
The most astounding part about all of this, is that I’m getting more straightforward explanations from you in your anger than I ever did while there was no overt animosity between us.
If you don’t end up banning me for this, I might just make pissing you off a priority if it means we actually get to have a decent discussion for once.
Or,
You could admit that you did not handle the situation to the best of your ability, and I will apologize for telling Seibertron you did “nothing” instead of “very little” and we can move forward from this, hopefully have better communication in the future and have fun like you ordered us to do in Iacon.
It’s your call, Burn.
Either way, I will respect it.
I’ve had enough of making people’s lives miserable.
