This is is the reason I want a new Gears/Swerve mold - for Gears' sake.

Oh yeah. Gears is effectively not "perfect" for the head part.

Thanks! The background is a sheet of cork. Better friction for the figures to stand on; dust doesn't show; and you get some texture.

To get the nice colored lighting, do you use, gels on your lights, filters on your lenses, post in Photoshop, or all of the above?

I attached these colour filters with a rubber-band on my flash guns.

Red & blue is a nice combination.

Kind of makes him look like he's on a battle ground at night, with explosions behind him outside of the picture.


Pink is also fun to play with.

This is my take on a fan mode I read about on BWTF. I couldn't get arm-mounting the ladder assembly to work for me because of the weight, so instead I mounted it to the Blue Bolts weapon.

While I don't have that color scheme, I do have that mold, and I too love it. Still holds up today.

Nightwatch Optimus is one of the greatest color schemes to come from the Movieverse!
Love to get my hands on one of those someday.
Would also love a G1 Prime in that scheme as well; if a random repaint/ movie homage ever comes up like that.
Even the Evasion mold would be a nice choice as well.

Densh, that mold is better than many that are coming out today. He has withstood the test of time!

He was my 5th ever Transformer after Movie 1 voyager Megatron, deluxe Bumblebee, Final Battle Jazz, and Scorponok, and was my 13th birthday gift from my Aunt and Uncle (Uncle sadly passed in 2011). The color scheme and the general bulk and heavy feel of the mold is incredible. And the original batteries are still in it 11 years later and functioning without issue.

He is great. This is a mold that withstands the test of time on quality and pure joy and fun
