Day 24 of the LEGO City Advent Calendar 2018! Who else would we get on the 24th but Santa Claus! Not really a surprise, but I always appreciate having another Santa. Especially one with TWO beards! He's TWICE as manly as you!

Chip The Ripper: "Ah, hello there Santa Claus! I've been waiting for you!"

Santa: "Hello there Chip! Glad to see you again! I've got a surprise for you this year!"

Chip: "Not as big as a surprise as I have for YOU!"

Megatron: "HAH! DECEPTICONS, REVEAL YOURSELVES!"

Baker/Starscream: *rumbles* "Ahhh! Finally! I was getting metal fatigue in that tiny body!"

Lamp/Soundwave: "The Compression Field Projector is functioning properly, Megatron."

Megatron: "Excellent work, Soundwave! With the compression field projector, and the extra-dimensional field generated by the old man's sack, we can shrink the Autobots down to the size of toys, and trap them forever! Hand over the sack, fleshling!"

Santa: "NEVER! What have you done with Chip The RIpper?"

Starscream: "Your cookie friend is a bit tied up at the moment. He looked cold, so we thought a warm bath would help him out!"

Chip The Ripper: "AAARGH! NOT WARM MILK! IT'S GROSS AND I'M LACTOSE INTOLERANT!"

Villagers: "You have to help us! The Decepticons have taken over the village, kidnapped Santa Claus, and are holding Chip The Ripper hostage!"

???: "Well... I guess I'm coming out of retirement early, then. Let me change out of my PJ's..."

Megatron: "Hand it over, fleshling."

Starscream: "And you MIGHT live to see next Christmas!"

Santa: "But I can't! There won't BE another Christmas if I do!"

Starscream: "You say that as if it was our problem!"

*THOOM*

???: "HEY! You're not being very nice!"

Megatron: "What? N-NO! It can't be! You're supposed to be DEAD!"

Unikitty: "HA-HAAAA! I FOOLED YOU!~<3

Unikitty: "Then I ripped off their legs and beat them to death with their own feet! And THAT'S how I saved Christmas!"

Santa: "That's a lovely story, Unikitty!"

Chip The Ripper: "So... we're just gonna ignore the fact that we're eating cookies here then?... Yeah?.... Alright then, sure...."

Thanks! Yeah I need to get my hands on gnaw and some more sea themed transformers and maybe another trypticon so I can make atlantis a full circle. Kinda hard to tell but did you notice sharkticon megs is sitting on a throne made of astrotrain? I can't remember where I saw that fan mode but it fits perfectly between the two towers on trypticon.

Generations Swerve. It came out not that long ago.

In the same line, there was Gears, Cosmos, Tailgate, and Shrapnel. All with their minicons.

What's wrong with the the Swerve mold? I like this mold, I have both Swerve and TFCC Optimus, but it's the Gears version I didn't like, the head was too Brawn.

And I think the name Tailgate is fine since the word can also be a verb meaning driving to close behind.

As someone who's has spent an inordinate amount of time with Swerve, he does a great job of straddling the IDW/G1 line. Compared to some of the more recent legend class releases he is starting to show his age though. I do wish he had thigh swivels and his head was on a ball joint, other than that he's perfect.

Gears would have been great if they did something else with his head; Cosmos and Skrapnel do exactly what they need to do; but Tailgate suffers too much from IDWitis. I liked TG at the time, but I've fallen out of puppy love with the comics. I want to track down a PotP TG as a replacement.
