I noticed you haven't been poking around in the Combiner Wars thread. Are you not interested in that stuff. I remember once you said you weren't a big fan of Gestalts, or maybe it was G1 Gestalts.

The line isnt even out yet over here. So I don't have anything to say for now.

I did buy Platinum G1 Predaking recently (he's wow) and RID Ruination (He's meh).

My main job is to saw aluminum and steel parts. Those are then machined to ultimately build theses:

This guy arrived on the same day as Ultra Magnus and Powerglide. (All three from different stores oddly enough.) I'm not familiar with the character so not even sure why I got it, but I'm glad I did!

Roadbuster's such a cool figure. He's got great articulation, fun transformation, a solid alt-mode; and probably the coolest part -- the many weapons and the ability to mix and match them everywhere in both modes.

And he's supposed to be pretty big (taller than Optimus Prime) right? So it fits great with my handful of "CHUG" figures.

Crosscut is a great figure to put in the background, with all the other generic guys that no one cares about. One of the dudes behind the main character that everyone knows and loves!

Nice shots, gema. The protectobots have my favorite color scheme of all the gestalts. The black reflective background works really well with the group.

This figure is amazing, and the size of it.. he's not called "Ultra Magnus" for nothing.

@waterwings I like your "Bravo" pic, it reminds me of the classic box art. Those were great, they always made the toys look better.

Thanks. I've been browsing the Transformers packaging art book at night so I'm sure it seeped into my photos. AD-3 Prime looks outstanding. Is the backpack easily removed?

The color scheme buddies photo is killing me. I didn't know I needed MP Smokescreen until now. Your photos are dangerous for my wallet.

@waterwings, thanks! I didn't remove the backpack, I cut a piece of paper and put it between the figure and the kibble, just for the picture. I like AD-31 a lot, but his back can be frustrating.

I think removing it is probably as easy as pushing the pin out, but he'd also lose the hips armour and the ability to transform.

This is what I love 3rd party companies for. The little add-on things that just make a standard figure a little better! Unless it's things like the My First Blaster, or the FP Retro-Future figures, then I'm just not interested in the full figure 3rd party toys.

EDIT: Also, because I can't afford them.
