Doubtful. Never has worked out too well in the past - the 'fairest' thing to do is let everyone replay any lost time.

And Im having to type this in intershite explorer, as the HMW GD isnt working in Firefox.
As far as I know, every other forum (including the pred forum) is working in firefox, but when i try and go into HMW GD. all I get in firefox is a similer blank page to when I try and go into HMW it's self/

Well, I personally haven't had any problems with the faction numbers for months, and my comment was more directed at the personalities that would abandon ship, as opposed to the population reduction.

Of course, if our accounts were all zeroed out, we'd probably be back to two factions again anyway, wouldn't we?

It's nice to see the site and the boards back up again, especially so quickly after natural disasters striking and causing trouble in both Chicago and Texas. I'm interested to see where the game stands whenever it comes back up and how much (if any) data was lost. I can understand the problem with compensation for lost xp/Energon, as previous 'packages' after data losses have been low estimates for frequent players and those at the higher levels. TBH, though...this is the third data loss I've been around for as a player and I'm not really sure I have the desire to "replay" that time again (especially since most of my playing time lately has been upgrading useless stats). I'm sure the staff is working hard on getting the game up and running again, and I'll be glad to see it's return, but if the data loss is severe enough, I'll probably take the opportunity to 'retire'.

Ironically, I see more reason for you to stick around if we have to start over from scratch.

If everything is restored, you'll just be fighting to upgrade useless stats.

If we have to start over from the beginning, you could try to do it all over with the benefit of your accumulated wisdom.

If everything is reset and back to 0 I can see a reason to stay it would be fun. But if everything is just back a to June or where ever I would probably be not as inclined to do it all again I probably would just play once in a while or hang them up too.

Being that I've only been here a couple months I wouldn’t have a problem starting over. The whole chaotic mad dash for names and killing would add some excitement for us low level people who want to feel like big boys. I would feel bad for those people who lose their high level alts.

As for when the game restarts I would be ok with waiting till the new version is ready to go. I don’t know how the programming works but I think getting the whole ball of wax going at once would be a great reopening.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound impatient nor did I mean to "rush" anybody. There just hasn't been "official" word at all, just conjecture and speculation.

I'm just happy that none of his TF's were damaged in his basement. I would have cried if anything had happened to mine.

Well, Im very sad about the complete reset, I was so close to achiving my overall aims of having a level 11 and a team that is truly regaurded as the high level suport, that it hurts to have lost it all.

Im also gutted becuase I dont know where this leaves my tournie.

But ahh well, onwards and upwards, it only took me 3 and a bit years to get to lvl 10 the first time....

Actually...I agree. Spending a few months working to earn several million xp to upgrade that 7th point of INT or 8th point of SKL (...again...) wasn't looking very interesting and would have been a tough slog, but starting over from the beginning and working on stats that actually do something might be kind of fun. And with everyone down at L0, there should be plenty of opposition for awhile, since we'll all be clustered around the same level. I'm looking forward to the game making a return and re-enlisting...hopefully before my team names get sniped.

From the point of view of myself and JP, this reset has come too early (by a couple of years at least) for our particular brand of TF universe, but to say anymore would be spoiling the story.
