The Quintesson and the Sharkticons in the court chamber.
The 3rd version Autobot spaceship and also the 3rd version fiery planet Thrull and its moons.
Ultra Magnus, 3rd version.
Looks a lot like Orion Pax, actually.

Yes. Later I redesigned and simplified this Ultra Magnus to become Orion Pax.
There seems so many confusing ideas going around among Transformers fans in the development of the animated Transformers movie. When I was designing the said movie I just designed whatever I wanted, once done I gave them to the studio, and that was that. I had no more control afterward whether the studio will use it or not, but most of the time my designs were used and others were not. My Ultra Magnus design shown here was not used in the movie, so I redesigned and modified it to become Orion Pax that the studio used in the Transformers series. I'll tell my daughter to post the design of Orion Pax in her Etsy store. By the way, to correct the misconception, my Ultra Magnus design was based on an angel and NOT BASED on the toy Powered Convoy, and I had nothing to do with the final Ultra Magnus used in the movie. About the book, my daughter and nephew are working on it slowly, hahaha. It's just a sideline work of my daughter who's working full time as a lawyer.

Hans wrote:I always thought the Quintesson designs were the most "out there" as far as high fantasy in G1 goes, really awesome and unique designs. The first design is a lot more conventional, but still very cool.
Can anyone decipher the text in the Quintesson piece? I wish there was a higher-resolution version available... from what I can tell, Floro explains the inspiration for the various head designs...

Face 1: I used a Pharaoh skull-like face to suggest kingly authority and death.
Face 2: I used a fat face with a sun-like-rays headgear to suggest a happy and smiling face.
Face 3: Here I used the face of evil (devil-like) to suggest an angry face.
Face 4: I used a stern and barbarian face to suggest a grimacing face.
Face 5: And here I used an old woman-like face to suggest a suspicious face.

In that early script draft that hit the web via Disciples of Boltax in 2010, they were actually both. They started out humanoid, but with robes concealing most of their bodies so that you only saw the face that was rotated forward at the time, using the death mask only when ordering an execution/announcing a verdict. Then, when attacked by the Dinobots, they escaped by blasting their "heads" off of what were revealed to be just puppet bodies, their actual form indeed being the most familiar one.hunter4life wrote:It says "First version of Quintesson."
oops my bad! but i wished we got the humanoid Quintessons in the movie rather than having just floating heads with seven different faces and personalities.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
My nephew, Kuest, is working during his spare time preparing that book. My daughter is just waiting for him so that she can edit it. There are simply many information needed to be incorporated in every design, and there are hundreds of designs.
