I'll give it to you that Bay may be bringing it up to add to the buzz, but making death threats is against the law and a very bad idea no matter how many other people have done it. I have two friends who got into a world of sh*t for making the wrong kind of joke to the wrong person. The lucky one only ended up in a "program" for a few months.
The legal term is "making terroristic threats" and it's a felony.

I'll probably get flamed for saying this, but I even enjoyed Pearl Harbor. For all its historical inaccuracies and silly subplots, it did have an exciting "imagine if you were there" feel to it.

Its alright mate, i like Pearl Harbor too. I havnt seen a Bay flick that i didnt immensely enjoy either so you arent the only one.

yikes, preal harbor is only 1 of 2 movies i have ever walked out of. the later was alone in the dark, but nonetheless!!

In Team America, a far more intelligent spoof of Hollywood bigscale action movies than one would think, there is a lovesong in which the singer claims that he misses his beloved almost as much as "Pearl Harbour" sucked. The whole song goes back and forth between 80s love ballad and tangents about how bad that movie was.

What I don't understand is why people are getting so worked up about the movie designs. I mean yes, they do look just a little strange, and are quite different to the original ones, but what else could you resort to in a live action film? What would they prefer, the animated designs from the Cybertron series, complete with static and lifeless 3d animation? I think not.

Michael Bay is an idiot and if i saw on the news that he was killed because of the TF movie id laugh so hard you wouldnt see the smile fade for days. Id have to be mighty bored to take the time however to write and adress a death threat. And i am definatly not gonna do it. I dont hate Michael Bay, and he sure aint wrecked my childhood nore anyone elses. And he wont unless a time machine is created and well not even then. I second that. I tried reading half of it but my eyes started to hurt. But from what i read everything he posted contradicted the other, and he just sounded like another one of these morons that makes the trans community look bad.

There seem to be a bunch of Bay haters on here. But we should feel very fortunate to have him. We could easily be complaining about what Uwe Boll did to the transformers.

As beloved as G1 is, there are many iterations of the Transformers Universe and when we see one we do not like, we simply have to not pay attention to it. Which is different then Star Wars which has pretty amazing continuity and to quote another poster, we do not have to deal with "a thin purple Jabba the Hut".

Bay is one of the only directors out there that could pull this off. He is perfect for the Transformers. I was extremely skeptical of this movie until I saw what he did with them. I was then absolutely amazed. The people on this board have to face the fact that this movie will be huge because of Bay and the material he had to work with. The material is not doing it on it's own. He made them bigger then life and more then a toy and a cartoon series. I am not putting down this thing we love. I would go see just about anything that was put out.

That being said, a death threat is just plain ignorant. If it really happened to him, think what he went through. Ever have anybody say they were actually going to kill you. I can only imagine what that is like. If it is fabricated, that is stupid also. But we all know how shallow hollywood people are, they will do anything to stay on top or make a buck.

Now I have not watched the movie yet, I am just going off of trailers and written reviews. People need to chill out and enjoy the ride. If is not up to your standards, then disregard it, but do not threaten to kill someone.
