Do I need to start HMW over?

Its been a while since I have logged onto HMW. How come I have to start all over again? None of my bots that I have had for the past 3.5 years is there. Can someone please enlighten me?

Long story short the game was reset (server was knocked out by a hurricane).
Everyone is back at level 0, so you're not the only one. Simply choose a faction, build a team, and kick some arse (don't worry, the game's still the same...somewhat

If you've lost certain names due to the loss of data, then you can send a PM to Omega Sentinel, and I'm sure he'd be willing to sort it all out for you.

Hollow One is 100% correct. All game data was lost due to the hurricane that hit Texas. It was not backed up and we lost mostly everything (except the game itself). We all started over and lost, for many of us, 4 years or more of playing. It happens.
Sadly, Windy is only 50% correct. If you find yourself in need of getting a name back, you can contact any HMW MOD to get a name change. Don't bother OS about it, that's what us grunt mods are for.
If you have any further questions you're welcome to PM any mod (since this thread is going to be locked - nothing personal, every thread about the reset/lost data is locked).
