It looks like the L3 Bots didn't know what to do with you in that one Tammuz. The only one who knew what you looked like was the L5 bot. That just makes me scratch my head and wonder what kind of trainging those Bots got before they faced you. I would be ashamed if I was a Bot in that mission.

what's so impressive about taking damage, any fool can take damage, perhaps this is why the maximals fail, they want to take as much damage as possible, whereas the cons know the purpose of combat is to stop the other guy from hitting you as fast as possible.

I guess the two ways of looking at this are equal. I prefer someone who isn't afraid of getting dirty to the point of barely walking away while the idea of not getting tagged and being very effecient also has an appeal. I've had my fair share of missions where I never got touched but typically it was against no more than three mechs.

Anyhoo ... regardless of damage caused, it's all about winning the mission. The less damage you take the faster you can get back on the battlefield and continue the fight.

Success is measured by the number of victories you achieve, not how many times you can get shot.

I really can't argue your logic Burn. As with any competition, it doesn't matter how big or small you win as long as you win. If I can't win, I prefer taking the top spot in a mission.

Besides, losing to well-built opponent is nothing to be ashamed of. Embarrassing one of an equivalent configuration in the arena or a mission is, however, quite worthwhile.
