The chest and head on Hasbro seems ill-proportioned, the guns (admittedly meant to entice with spring loaded firing) looks goofy, the arms and leg joints throw me off... Possibly the only thing I'm appreciative on the Hasbro version is the alt mode and that's only by a little bit when compared to the unarmored version of FP's.
Maybe once I get a better look at it in a review or something my tune will change, but I'm just not that impressed with the Hasbro version on this one.

Wow. I guess I'm exactly the opposite point of view. I really don't like Hasbro RB's arms and legs, but I like the alt mode better.
I was hoping Hasbro's version would make me forget about FP's but it's not been the case. I still prefer FP's take on the character.

I kinda wanna see how large this'll be, but the cold, hard fact is that the price factor may edge out FP for me.

Is it good enough when considering the huge cost saving over FP? Damn right.

Yeah, this is probably the most truthful thought related to these figures. And Hasbro's, while not perfect, is:
1) Not a repaint
2) A very good representation of the character
3) not likely to slice open my fingers when I try to transform
Again, I love FP for what they have done. If Hasbro would have never produced this I would have been very happy with Revolver. But I don't want to shell out a bunch of money for two of the same thing when the cheaper one will do nicely.

I wish I had the same confidence in FP enough so to make this statement, as the FP version does look good and appeals to my aesthetic tastes more, but I don't. FP has been one disaster after another for me, so I'm more than happy that Hasbro is putting out their own Roadbuster. This thing can shelfwarm into oblivion for all I care.

Roadbuster is one of those figures. I don't need him, because I don't care about him, but I do like his toy. I was considering FP's until they pulled that "You need to buy $300.00 worth of figures to complete him" crap, and then Hasbro came along and said "Lookit our's." and it's complete, looks good and it's only $22.99...
No brainer, official won this time. If they keep doing that, I won't have a need for 3rd party.

I'm inclined to agree, but I don't think we'll ever see a decent combiner from Hasbro. Or anything that looks like a gun.
Anyway, what the heck am I going to do with my Mugen Calibur now? These will be worth nothing on the secondary market!

Oh absolutely. There will always be a need for 3rd party. Both Galvatron (Maniaking) and Menasor (M3/Intimidator) are proof of that.

That's the truth. And coming from a staff member too.
By now we know that the Warbot line isn't a line of triple changer homages, it's a line of Wreckers Homages. (except Steelcore) I think if the line continues with this theme, many people will buy them all to have matching aesthetic on their Wreckers shelf.

Revolver is too blocky and I don't like the alt mode very much. Someone's Logo comment is dead on!
Hasbro's version is pretty spindly and the wheels on the limbs are just lazy, but I do like his alt mode.
Both are OK takes on the character, but neither hits it out of the park for me.
However, the price factor wins this round, hands down.
Winner of my $$$: Hasbro
Classics Magnus/Skywarp 2 pack MIB
Classics Devastator MIP
HA Sideswipe K-Mart exclusive color Loose
Currently looking for:
ROTF Target exclusive Sideswipe from the 2-pack
TFCC Punch/Counterpunch
Alternity Primes, silver & white versions
(opened is OK, to be used for customs)
PM If interested

That was me,I coined the Lego's Kreo nickname.
I also don't like how small the FP RB chest piece is in robot mode.
I don't like my 3rd party TF toys more blocky than the original 1980's HasTak TF toys. Kronos & Revolver look more blocky than the 1985 HasTak toys versions.

Hasbro's RoadbusterYEP.
The Hasbro effort looks like it is covered in clear stickers like Whirl. I actually got a kick out of stickering Whirl so this is another plus for me over the FP version.
