Tsutsukakushi wrote:I simply don't like the FP Roadbuster in either mode. The sculpt is too overly boxy & too many panels. as far as beauty goes it's not.
The Hasbro version in 2014 will be the better product.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:Fanprojects has a more miss than hit record. Out of all the stuff they made. I only think the City commander,Protector, crossfire combaticons & stunticons are decent.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:Putting Protector on the decent list is kinda pushing the envelope. as it not as high end quality in plastic or design as the other on that above list. It barely makes the decent list.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:It sure seems like FP has different teams creating different products. I just think the WB001-WB004 stuff & the Headmasters are inferior products.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:In the case of WB001-WB004 toys,The toys are too overly boxy in all modes. The sculpts are just weird & don't look that great.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:The FP Headmasters are not bad sculpts. These toys needed to be voyager scale not deluxes. The small scale ruined the toys due to FP using thin fragile plastic. Had the toys been Voyager scale,FP would of had been forced to used thicker more durable plastic by default.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:The Crossfire Insecticons are nice toys. sadly the toys are vastly over priced. Paying $75 for a scout sized toy is way over priced.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:Like others have stated in other threads here. The FP toys are not meant to be played with. the toys are simply to fragile to handle the stress of being played with or getting transformed.

That makes me sad (not annoyed or frustrated, just sad). I don't to join Core, but I really like this Roadbuster. But that's how they get you, I guess.mooncake623 wrote:Nice!! In hand packaging without any pre-orders anywhere? Makes me think this will be a fans project core exclusive at least for a little while.
Gauntlet101010 wrote:I think my Wreckers will be getting a new member. But I'm in no hurry. I kinda wanna see what Hasbro's going to pull off.
Cobotron wrote:Hey! You seemed to have attracted a wild Megatronus. They're hard to find, but boy are they fun when you catch one!

Mooncake, are you a Core member? If so, what's been your experience?
william-james88 wrote:So that would also be the case for Predaking, who is also six members.
Doctor McGrath wrote:I can't wait for this figure. In my opinion, unless Hasbro nails the All Hail Megatron IDW Roadbuster, I don't see how it could be any better. Regardless, I'll buy it too. I'm not at all bitter about the add on pieces coming with the other figures either. I would have gotten them either way so the extra armor is just a bonus.

Hasbro Better? Maybe, maybe not. But definitely cheaper.
Defender is still the "Springer" on my shelf, but it would not be if Hasbro Springer came out first.
The Hasbro one is a very nice representation of the character, and many folks like it better. While I still prefer Defender, I don't like it that much more.
So for Roadbuster, I'm going to hold off till I get more info.
I also happen to have a Mugen Calibur as a stand in, so I'm not too desperate to replace him.

Any idea if Hasbro's Roadbuster will be a repaint or something new?

No clue as of yet. I think there's a Toy Fair sometime in Feb that may answer that question.

I hope. I fear movie toys will rule the show.
