I just need to wait for all of the non Fans Toys Dinobots to be released before deciding which group will get to be my 2nd set of 3rd party Dinos.

There's just too many different companies to choose from. :lol:

With all the other Dinobot choices around, I'm just not feeling these.

If they didn't have Grimlock appearing to be larger than the others (to form the torso) They might be really perfect Classics scaled Dinobots that fit into a more G1 theme than PX or FP.

If they matched MP Grimlock in height they might go well there, so you don't have to swap out your MP Grimmy if you don't want to.

But I just don't see a point in these guys, unless the combined mode is important to you, but I suspect for many collectors it is a "nice to have" but not necessary feature.

It's a nice looking Sludge, but those wings on the back are a real eyesore.

Can't see the pic there, rpetras. Regardless, if you're talking about the wings being normal for the G1 toy then yeah, they were. However, compared to the G1 cartoon they're quite different.

In any case, they are an eyesore and it's a shame GCreation couldn't have found a better way to integrate them on their figure.

i noticed in peaugh's review of toyworld's sludge that you don't have to rotate the legs in front of the wings, they could stay on the back side. while this is still not like the original i believe it would improve the look a bit

also this sludge looks incredible in my opinion. great paint, nice sculpt, and a combiner to boot, GIMME!!

I do like Toyworlds Dinobots alot. These look to be very G1 like. I wanted to like Fansproject's take but I'm not feeling them at all.

The more I look at this sludge, the more I like it. Its a shame theyre going to be doing grimlock hasbro style (bigger than the rest) If they were so insistant on doing a dino combiner, they should make paddles and have a 2 bot torso to keep grimlocks scale in harmony with the rest. But if they can pull off a MMC Leo Dux and get him to scale with his team, ill be double dipping on dinobots. These for robot mode, FP for dino mode (and vice verca sometimes) And of course count me in for the inevitable set of G2 Dinobots from FP to milk the molds. Or maybe these guys will beat them to it ?

Not that I was expecting a FP style dino neck, but I was expecting at least one joint to move the neck since it just hangs from his back in robot mode. Other than that he looks great.
