Ah, I hadn't seen that they had posted that, that makes sense. Cheers.

Now not only does SS have to share with TF:TM, but fewer overall toys are being produced, thus slowing things down even more. I mean in Generations mainline, repacks are to be expected.
The amount of SS figures being released this year aren't notably less than any prior year though, it only looks that way here because they took the same amount of content and split it into 4 waves for the year instead of SS's usual 3 waves. Year 1 of SS had 4 waves, but 2 of the Voyager waves were a single figure and a repack exactly like these listings (first Ironhide, then the RotF Screamer), and half of it's Deluxe waves were 2 new figures and then repacks. If we count the individual figures per year:
Year 1: 11 Deluxes, 6 Voyagers, & 2 Leaders across 4 waves
Year 2: 11 Deluxes, 6 Voyagers, & 3 Leaders across 3 waves
Year 3: 10 Deluxes, 6 Voyagers, & 3 Leaders across 3 waves
Year 4 (this year): 9 Deluxes, 6 Voyagers, & 3 Leaders across 4 waves
It's only 1 less Deluxe than last year, but with it being spread across 4 waves again and the SS86 figures feeling significantly more like WFC figures than SS, it gives the illusion of less than there is.
