He's not a Titan.
He's Unicron.
He's a class unto himself.

It's especially good since TFSource, unlike other options, has no down payment for their preorder.megatronus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The high price and short notice are exactly why I opted to go with the more feasible route of preordering Unicron from TFSource and saving up the money over the steady course of a year and a half.
Seems like people are constantly forgetting that this is an option.

Meaning that if you cancel the order yourself, you won't get the deposit back.

I'm not asking the literal meaning. I'm noting that, contrary to Sabr's statement, TFsource does appear to in fact require a down payment.

It's like this: It doesn't matter if this Unicron is funded or not. There will always be another one. This one will simply end up alongside the G1 and BW Neo counterparts. The Mega Corporation will likely pay for the next one themselves too, like the rest of the line
I mentioned before, several pages back probably. A Unicron in the Titan Class would have made more sense than a crowd funding oddity. Titan Class represent the Big Boys. Those at the end of the spectrum, that scale doesn't really apply to. So far it has been 3/4 City Bots and maybe, the new SIEGE Omega Supreme (although I don't know the specifics on his new height offhand).
How I would justify it, are they bigger than a Gestalt? If Yes, they go in Titan Class. It would be asinine to make a further class beyond that as realistically it would only apply to one figure - Unicron, and potentially two retool/decos, in Primus/Cybertron and Atlas/Earth. That in itself would lead to the pricing issue that has emerged with this figure. As long as he is an inch or two taller than Fort Max he will look much bigger anyway, due to his Planet Mode. Trying to assign any kind of grander scale to him is really silly.
DMSL wrote:I am not going to back this, it is too expensive. The transformation is basic, for this price there should not be all that kibble hanging from the botmode. Let your wallet speak and don't back it.
ZeroWolf wrote:I think there would be worse compromises made to a titan unicron, especially to make it a perfect sphere alt and have it's robot mode be accurate.
