Id love to be able to help Mkall and if I can then obviously I will, but im not sure that id be able to bring anything he doesnt already have, and ive never done anything on this scale.

There are people out there that are far better than me though.

How much time are you looking for though? I still think the best bet is to have a team of a few people working on it. One of them can set up a password protected server and the others can try code changes from there. One "Lead" programmer who tells the others what needs to be done, and keep track of who's doing what, then reinsert the new code into the master code for testing inside the team. What this also does is limit the "oh crap we don't have a programmer anymore" running around like headless chickens. If someone resigns, the others keep plugging until a replacement can be found. I really don't think it would be that unmanageable to pull off a small team with one "Lead".

The more details you can give us, the more we can be of help.

I actually think having the Maximals and Predacons were better, and some people love animals and such, so why can't we just keep those? Battle Beasts should be gone, true that you earn more energon, but you also lose it if you don't get it right.

I think having new factions makes it more fun, more easily sorted. Having beast modes is really good and there are very few animals, vehicles are way too much. Most people love animals and mythical creatures, so why can't we give the Maximals and Predacons a chance, the Autobots and Decepticons have been here for a long time and we need more fun!

Come on people! Let's keep the Maximals and Predacons! We need more beastformers!

I think most people like the Maximals and Predacons, as far as I know, IF the beast factions go they will be brought back as soon as possible.

If it helps HMW work properly again, then it can't be that bad can it?

I'm sure the majority of people don't want to lose the Beast factions BUT if it helps streamlines HMW then sacrifices need to be made.

But even if the server CAN handle the additional factions, we're still faced with the problem that there's currently no way for new people to join the Beast factions. Until that happens we still face the problem of two very small factions which don't even have their resources properly set up.

I can't really see their removal having any kind of performance impact. We'd more than likely be in the same boat with or without them.

The inclusion of the beast factions have really unveiled a few bugs in the system, believe me, it's very annoying when an Autobot claims victory for a Con/Maxi match :-x !

Personally, I think having the beast factions wouldn't be a problem, if the following guidelines were followed:

1) Fix the bugs (obvious).
2) Reset everyone and make them choose factions again. Seriously, making a thread asking people to swap over may work in the short term, but if the beast factions are to get any real players this needs to be done, especially seeing that most of the players never visit the forums.
3) Every faction has a fair chance at recruiting members. Seeing as everyone will more than likely go Bot - Con - Maxi - Pred in priority, having a system that allows players to be distributed evenly would be helpful, or gives the factions an even chance of gaining members.

That's my opinion on the matter.
