Will int. have other effects ,other than the current ones?


Also Glyph was talking about (many many moons ago) having a few things on the character that involved the personality of the character (about 3 sliding scales). This was to put some weight on what actions they took. Has this idea been dropped, delayed for later or going to be implimented when 2.0 goes online?

Finally, whatever became of the ranking system? Will that be implemented in V2?

I'll be honest with you...

This wasn't started and I have no plans to implement anything like this.

The actions of a bot have to be broken down into mathematics. Every action and reaction is a mathematical calculation. This is how AI works and I've programmed many real-life systems that require similar "reactionary" procedures. HOWEVER, considering the overall shape of the game, there were many issues I had to work on that took priority. The alt-rotator, the weapons, the tactics, the broken stats like Intelligence, the expansion of factions....These are just a few. I am essentially overhauling the game on a massive scale.

So far from what Mkall has posted, Stealth is only available to the Gizmo and the Small Animal classes (IIRC for the cons anyway) as its basically an Avoid vs. Strafe.

What I think you mean is radar cloaking which doesnt seem to be included in the tactic lists on the XP calculator.

Mkall has made a full list of the alt classes and their current tactics here.

Something else that was talked about was haveing a non altmode based tactic (though tactic is a slightly misleading name) that was to represent "powers" the character has such as:

Mirage's invisibility
Skywarp's teleportion
Hound's holograms
ect.


I'm sure this idea isn't going to be implimented right out of the gate ,but is it still being looked at?

As of right now, stealth work only vs strafe, so right now there's no reason to have it on an air alt as they're already exempt. Autobots will have aerial Repairers, but the Decepticons won't because the 'cons really don't want to repair their friends while they have perfectly good missiles on their wingtips :P

That is being looked at, but might not make it in right away.

Special abilities have been suggested and looked at. However we don't think that they should work as tactics. It's something to look at after the initial release.

Most likely after the reset, but since it's auto-updated when new things are added to the background, it's hard to say for sure.

Will there be a better expination for the recharge rate on weapons in V2?

A litter more info than just short recharge/no recharge would be very helpful.

anyway the staff are still working through the weapons system, so nothing is concrete yet, but i hope so, maybe 4 recharge umbrella terms.
