Nice! I kinda want that Battle Droid, either him or the Figuarts. Not a big Star Wars fan but I did enjoy the prequels as a kid, and the droid designs are still awesome. Still hoping we get a transformable Droideka one day.

Anyway, as a kid I had Movie Dreadwing, unfortunately he gradually fell apart and I no longer have him. However, courtesy of eBay I now have Overcast, whose colours are possibly even cooler.


His articulation is a bit more awkward than I remembered but between the amazing colours and that GORGEOUS MiG-29 Fulcrum alt mode, I can forgive it.
I still kinda want to get a Dreadwing again some day (and maybe a Fearswoop too for a little "Seeker Trio"). But that can wait.

That is a solid mold. I had Dreadwing and Overcast, but sold them both off a while back. Man, the early non-movie character toys are one of the things I really miss about the movie lines. There were some absolute gems.

Got a bunch of stuff in this week.

Hasbro Pulse delivered on Shattered Glass Goldbug and Agent Ravage. Haven't opened either yet, but I was really happy to see Hasbro listened to fan feedback and wrapped the comic instead of having it float around the box loose.

Had a great Amazon score thanks to a toy flash sale that included some Transformers, just happened to catch it before coming back from my break at work. Got Studio Series 76 Thrust for $22, Cyberverse Battle Call Megatron for $15.49 and Battle Call Starscream for $16.49.

The other day at Target in my constant hut for the Worlds Collide set I unexpectedly found a Summer 2021 Pop Shockwave just sitting on the Pop shelves. These have been gone for a long time and were no longer in the store computer. Hoped I could get him for a discount because of it, but they found the price on Target.com so I paid the full $15.

Also at Target today (still hunting) they were putting out a bunch of Origin Bumblebees so I picked one up to squirrel away since I doubt they'll attempt another cybertronian Bee like this again.

Oh, and I might have scored a Worlds Collide set on Target.com. I got the usual email saying it was in stock, it wasn't, but it did say there was one at a store about 40 miles away. I decided that was my best shot at getting one at MSRP, I'll just take the trip out to get it. At first it just gave me the curbside or inside pick up options, but when I went to check out there was an option to ship so I went with that and it now says my package will arrive Monday. Seems hopeful, but at this point I won't believe it until it's in my house.

Well somehow I managed to successfully get a Worlds Collide set off Target.com so that hunt is over. Still don't know how I was able to buy one when it was out of stock online, but clearly they have them in their warehouse just sitting there ready to go. If you didn't read my previous post I found one listed at Target.com as in stock at a store that isn't local, but close enough that I can drive to it in maybe half an hour or so. Originally my only options were to pickup in store or curbside, but during checkout it gave the option for shipping so I went with that skeptical about what would actually show up (fully expected a Cyberverse 4 pack), but it was the real deal and arrived today!

All that's left of Kingdom and WFC as a whole is wave 5 and a few more exclusives.

I'm just curious. Was it the reveal (perhaps disappointment?) of Legacy Skids that prompted you to get T30, or was it something you've wanted for a while? I totaly understand. If I had been waiting for a new version of a character, and it wasn't what I hoped for, I'd go back an seek the older version also. I haven't encountered that scenario specifically myself yet, but I can relate.

Today I have a rather special haul in the form of a childhood grail of mine. Now, 15 years after his initial release, I finally have him, complete with all accessories. Behold: Cybertron Soundwave!


His transformation is rather fiddly, and his articulation is a bit dated, but my god he looks so cool, especially in robot mode. Also Laserbeak is amazing, probably one of my favourite renditions of him to date. The hexagonal "bomb mode" looks cool, and the bird mode is really well done.

Well, that was quite an unexpected haul. From eBay, the shipping alone was 34$can for the HUGE box containing the Beast Machines Supreme Cheetor and (leader?) Nightscream. Both 100% complete and unbroken! Allegedly two of the "worst TF ever" but I like them.

So, what was the price, not counting the shipping?

That is a good haul. I've tried getting a a Supreme Cheetor at a good price, but everyone seems to overestimate its value. I like Nightscream as well, though mine has a broken bat "finger", complete otherwise, it was in a random parts lot I got for cheap some 16 or so years ago.

I finally picked up Slag this week along with Core Soundwave from Wal-Mart and Waspinator came in from Pulse. Slag and Waspy are pretty good, but I freakin' LOVE the little Soundwave. It would have been awesome if the tiny Laserbeak could transform.

Yeah you're right they would break very easily, and it would also be considered a safety issue, because these small figures really were intended for children.

I just went to my local geek store to trade in some old unwanted TF. This is what I got rid off, notably the huge Beast Machines toys that I previously got for peanuts:

I had to add 21$can on top to get a loose but 100% complete Unique Toys Challenger, and a 100% complete G2 Superion with some papers!

That was quite a deal, isn't?

The trade-in I dumped at the store was mainly for that 3P Optimus, sold without box and papers for 150$CAN. Taxes are included when you trade in stuff. After that, I had 102$CAN remaining to spend. I was looking for something random.

That G2 Superion was just sitting there on his shelf, unsold for MONTHS. Then I finally noticed the price. 120$CAN. Seriously? And 100% complete? G2 Silverbolt alone is worth more than that. So I jumped on it!

I'm not so sure.
He was full of BW figures for a long white but then Kingdom happened and now he just barely have any.
Regardless, what keeps that store alive and well are not even Transformers nor any "serious" toys.
