Nor do I. This is the first Vehicle mode test shot pic we have seen. This pic isn't zooming in on the wheels. This pic is not super clear.

For those that care about this,It's best to start worrying. After much more vehicle pics are revealed. Showing off more angles & zooming in on more areas.

For all we know the Front wheels might seem wider than the rear wheels. Thanks to the angle or shadows in the pic. Maybe their are wheel guards on top of the front wheels & none on the rear wheels.

Either way,Having Front rears slightly wider than rear wheels. Does not bother me. It seems like a extremely minor nit pick to me.

It certainly is not unrealistic to have front wheels on trucks,suv's,4x4's or racing sports cars. That have wider front wheels & more narrow rear wheels. This is done for racing or mountain climbing driving.

This guy looks incredible! I personally think the size is right in, if not a inch over, but hey, looks really good. Nice work! Glad I put in my order.

I'd really want to see how TakTom is going to do this if they are indeed going for the G1 Cab+Armor route.

I want to get this, I really do, but I just don't see it being better than the official MP. I got Quake Wave and plan to get Kronos but that's because we're not going to get Shockwave and Skyfire from Takara. I'm planning to get the Takara Magnus and the inevitable Hasbro release because I do want a white Optimus for my Magnus shelf. I might get this to stand next to that but it wouldn't go on my MP shelf.

Love the newer pics. This just might end up being the best 3rd party TF toy of the year.

Does KFC Ultra Magnus come with his own Matrix? The one in KFC UM's chest looks like MP-10's Matrix.

If a truck could look derpy it's this right here with those cab rear wheels.

So the cab and trailer can't be separated? There's no smaller white Prime inside the armor? Regardless, I might still get this. If he is that much taller than MP-10, he might only be a little bit taller than MP-01, which would make him perfect in robot mode. Truck mode? The rear wheels are just a bit off-putting, but as I said before, he would be in robot mode, so it's a non-issue in display. That grill is pimp, though.

I love how the cab is bigger than that of MP 10. So he's out of scale in all modes.
Sure it's just a tiny little bit, but it's still not the o so important exact same size as MP 10's alt-mode.

If the quality of him is the same as other KFC products, you guys will all get screwed. I just got my replacement KFC Mugan Scope from BBTS and that **** is broken too. Im gonna pray to the TF gods that BBTS will give me store credit. And lets not even talk about their slamdance. Thats another horror story...

Because they have never, ever made one. They've made plenty of Jetfire's even Skyfire/Jetfire hybrids, but never a Skyfire. It took repainting the Lambor and Prowl molds 7+ times to justify a one off mold for Wheeljack. Could you imagine how many repaints it would take to get a one off the size of Skyfire?

I just don't see it happening anytime soon. Now, if it does happen the Kronos I get will go on eBay as soon as we get a silhouette image of the real deal confirming that it's not just an inflated Robotech figure but let's face it, that's more then likely what we'd get anyway.

i suppose i wasnt taking the MP scale in regards to the sheer size he'd end up being. itd be hard to imagine them making an MP that size..

as for repaints though, didnt they recently say they dont have to justify 10 repaints for 1 mold because of the success they had with the lambors and datsuns?

I really love how its got a one piece Transformation. For me, thats kinda important - I think that Takara going the armour route is a bit of a cop-out.

BUT - I'm really not a fan of the styling. The transformation is clearly very clever, but the final robot mode doesn't fit in well enough with Masterpieces for me. Takara's will probably look great in robot mode, but it'll have that disappointing puzzle-former thing to it, unless somehow the trailer transforms into one large Magnus suit - in which case - why bother with the Prime cab at all?

1.0 Jetfire was the 1985 Cartoon Skyfire Homage toy. 30th Leader Jetfire is the hybrid toy-cartoon Jetfire toy.

Shockwave has had several newer toys from HasTak.

HasTak can recreate Both Shockwave & Jetfire or Skyfire. To make them look as close to their 1985 toy-cartoon versions as possible. Problem is HasTak is not interested in doing so. Because they don't think todays kids will bother buying the toys.

So are you calling me a liar ? Two bad mugan scopes, both halves of their slamdance damaged, and a rhinohorn that was missing his horn a few months back. While KFC might make figures that look cool, the quality is always crap. Im not getting paid to lie. Dont I praise Impossible Toys ? If Im telling you KFC products are crap, why would I lie ? I would think you would appreciate my feedback. How many KFC products do you own ? I own all the cassette molds and mugan scope (hopefully not for long)

ok... how do you know theyre not interested?

and by that logic, why would there be so many jetfires and shockwaves on the shelves? besides, the MP line doesnt even have "kids" in mind. and thats what the discussion is about.

That's exactly what I'm saying. They had to use two molds a dozen times to get Wheeljack and Skyfire would take more than that. Like, dozens more. Like, MP Bumblebee coming out in all his repaints, including the Mexican and Brazilian recolors, twice over and them all being smash hits. Such a large and unique build with a completely unused and untested design would just be hell for Takara to budget out. And even then, they run the risk of not getting the support from the fans who want Jetfire over Skyfire. It's just not worth it to them.

It can be done if HasTak uses remolded parts on the MP TF toy line. If HasTak did a MP Jetfire,It could be turned into Jhiaxus,Dreadwing or Thunderwing. All thats needed is newer heads,newer colors & resculpted parts. HasTak can even do a Black repaint of MP Skyfire as Takara did one with the 1.0 mold.

As far as MP Shockwave is concerned. It can have Two toy colors. The Cartoon Dark grey colors. Then the Toy,comic purple colors. With newer heads & reculpted parts,It can be turned into Straxus & Bludgeon.

Got 20 IT figures and only had issues with one. Have had 14 KFC products and had issues with five. So pound for pound, IT is the superior of the two. What surprises me the most is that the only person on here that gives a crap about G1 toy accuracy doesnt like the IT mini bots. They should be right up your alley because youre always talking about toy this, toy that, and totally disregard cartoon accuracy.
