MP-22 & MP-VictorySaber might bring the MP-01 toy scale back.
Nope.
we'll just have to wait & see.

In regards to MP-22... Why would something based off MP-10 be scaled to go with MP-01?
thats what tsutsu does best.Doctor McGrath wrote:It's all just speculation now though, honestly.
Doctor McGrath wrote:I honestly doubt it. Right now, this line is dedicated to being as close to cartoon accuracy and scale as possible. I don't think they'd shy away from that formula on Ultra Magnus or Star Saber. It's all just speculation now though, honestly.

GodGinrai in the MF cartoon series was the size of a gestalt and Overlord. When Godginrai appeared in that V cartoon series, He was the same scale as Starsaber. So speculating MP Starsaber to be a bigger scale , around 11-13 inches tall in super robot mode will be 1980's cartoon and toy accurate.

Or by the same logic Star Saber could be scaled to MP-10's size. Like I said in my previous post, it's all speculation.
Personally, I'm just happy their coming bc I'm not satisfied with the size of this UM.

So what you're saying is that based off one guy they aren't making, another guy they aren't making, and combiners they aren't making, all from an entirely different series' then the guy they are making, the random fan choice one-off figure with no repaint potential and no retail demand outside of Japan's very targeted audience that will actually buy it will be out of scale with the last dozen guys they've made and large enough to put the price point passed where even the people who voted for him will be willing to pay. And that has some bearing on this 3rd party version of Ultra Magnus.
Cuz that makes sense.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:KFC Ultra Magnus, MP-22 and MP Starsaber. Are all bound to be the same MP-01 11 to 13 inches scale height in robot mode.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:MP Ultra Magnus & MP Starsaber are bound to be the same 11 to 13 inches height in robot mode. As both toys combine with parts to form a super robot mode.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:MP Starsaber is bound to be followed by MP Victoryleo. As they are a pair that combine in both modes.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:Adults fans collect MP TF toys, not kids or the non adult fans. USA based adult fans who surf the internet know who Victory Starsaber is.
USA based fans will be buying the Takara & Hasbro USA MP TF versions of MP Starsaber and MP Victoryleo.

Wait why on the fence about MP-22 and want this? If it's price I willing to bet BBTS is just throwing a price out there as a place holder. They have no clue how much that is going to cost. I'm not saying it'll be cheap but I doubt it'll be $279. Also I never get my MPs through them anymore anyway. It is much cheaper to import straight from Japanese retailers. I bet all at the end of the day MP-22 can be had for around 200-220 shipped from Japan. MP bumblebee only cost me $40. I have much more confidence in Takara's MP than what I see in this thing no matter how many reviewers love it.

I am definitely MP Ultra Magnus and I'm going to get it twice if Hasbro puts one out too because I want the white Prime. Whichever white Prime is better goes on my Magnus shelf sans armor and whichever armor is better goes on the other white Prime on the MP shelf. I want this to stand next to the white Prime on my Magnus shelf. It's a character collector thing. It sounds really bad when I put it that way. Okay, how's this: on my shelf I have a beat up G1 Optimus hooked up in the G1 armor so the white Magnus can stand next to him and I was going to put the Henkei Magnus next to Classic Magnus in the City Commander armor but ended up giving Henkei Magnus to my friend for his birthday instead. Same idea but a hell of a lot more expensive so I'm on the fence about even getting this at all.
