Oh, I still consider myself on the fence for MP-22 because all I have seen is a silhouette.

I expect MP-22 will be fine, and will likely be the MP Ultra Magnus I choose, but I can't say that with certainty until I see something.

On the colors, that light blue version seems to be an almost spot-on match to Titanium UM. I seem to remember my G1 UM being a lot more on that light blue side.

Remember it's spot on because it's a fan digi bash. Shades of blue in the end product will probably varies some.

the G1 toy was almost a turquoise light blue. the digibash certainly nails it and it looks great. the bot mode looks much improved in that lighter colour. still going to wait on word on the official MP because by then we'll hopefully have more reviews of this guy, news on what if any repaints there might be, and if we're super lucky, maybe another smaller Magnus from Hasbro or a different third party. I just want something that I'd be happy replacing my City Commander with.

I didn't have to do anything to the Optimus I used and it was actually my old G2 one. The only version that I know of that doesn't fit is the new Music Label head which killed the white version for me. On colors, I'd prefer the lighter blue of the comics. I think it looks better in contrast with the bright red but the shade of blue isn't an automatic no for me. This looks awesome, it's just a matter of the overall costs. I like my displays but probably not enough to spend that much money. MP-22 is listed at $280, a Hasbro one would probably run at least $150 just because the trailer is so much more complex than Primes, then $185 for Citizen Stack? It totals out to at least $615 by my estimate and I don't know if it'll be worth that much to me. It's just too costly to do what I've done in the past in the Masterpiece scale. If Hasbro passes on importing Ultra Magnus, then I'll get him for my Magnus shelf for sure but right now there are too many variables for just the one character. Very expensive variables.

i dont really pay attention to prices if im not interested in buying. but i had that number stuck in my head for some reason.

So got him today. Quality is good, nothing I worried about breaking or janky construction. Feels light for his size, some diecast would go a long way. joints are tight, paint apps are good. Looks like Ultra Magnus so that's good. I like him. Say, a solid B. A better price point would be about $130 but whatever. Looks silly next to MP 10 so I dusted off MP1 and they look great side by side. I don't regret getting him but if he isn't wowing you Taks release will no doubt be much better.

Kinda reminds me of the toys this size in the 80s as far as the feel of the plastic and the size weight ratio. Like a GI Joe vehicle...couple of die cast parts and better plastic would really make this toy better. But not bad. Bout what I expected. Head sculpt does kinda need...something...

I would agree with that statement. But its really not bad. And honestly most of the third party stuff is equally overpriced and I still buy it lol. The hollow cab in alt mode is the only thing that annoys me. I'm no engineer but there has to be a way to accomplish the same concept w/o the saggy hollow cab. And his head is very visible as well.

There must be some metal parts for the joints or something right? If not, this might be breaksville somewhere along the line.

got my KFC UM toy package today. It was smart for KFC to package the toy in Vehicle mode as it saves space. I had a chance to open up the box and play with the toy for a few hours. The plastic is strong and sturdy. I enjoyed the Transformation as it was fun. not too simple,not too complex, A medium Transformation level. The engineering,articulation and high sculpt have all been take to newer high levels.

KFC UM looks like a big homage toy for that Titanium 6 inch G-1 Ultra Magnus toy. If KFC wants to create more upscaled homage Titanium 6 inch TF toys. like doing a Leader scale Rodimus Prime based off the titanium 6 inch toy sculpt, I will preorder it and buy it in a heart beat.

As mentioned in a few youtube videos. The screws were a bit loose. but nothing a screwdriver could not fix. Didn't get carried away tightening the screws,just a few twist. I remember the DOTM toys had loose screws that needed to be screwed tight a bit.

I plan to get the SXS add on heads for this toy. The current head has a nutcracker mouth that might be a slight homage to TF Animated's Ultra Magnus nutcracker mouth sculpt.

put the KFC UM toy on a display shelf alongside MP-01 and MP-05. When I receive BTS Nova Lord and MP-22 they on going on the KFC UM shelf.

Price for me was not that high, It was rather low for a 3rd party toy this size and high quality.

Sorry, I don't own any type of digital camera or cam. So no video or toy pics from me.

No regrets or negative complaints from me regarding this toy. I currently view this toy as the best 1986 homage toy for the Ultra Magnus character toy thus far.

I love the Ultra Magnus character and designs. So I will also be buying the MP-22 UM toy. If other 3rd party UM toys come out that I like in my big preferred scale,I will also be buying it.

Am looking forward to more bigger toys from KFC. As they impressed me with KFC UM.

Um, the screws were metal I believe...noe that you mention it maybe that's why it has an erie light feel to it. I will check in greater detail about the joints when I get home but I don't think so man.

I don't have it in hand ATM but I would say no. FP toys I have don't feel the same and I want to say are of better quality but that may be due to how large and in some places thin (ie the trailer panals) the plastic panels are on Stack. I don't want to be negative about the figure tbough, it seems well build.

Maybe if possible, you could post pics? Maybe also include a review.
