can't really say, I took it out once when that whole thing about the KO's of the FP city commander came up, and did some pics of it with Henkei Prime.. nice too..
it's awesome!!
but it is storage now.. it's safe.. wish I could pose it and set up a display of some kind, some day..

Right on, that's cool. Why's he in storage? No room? Or you're just keeping him safe..?
What I'm probably going to do is buy the Nemmy Prime, since he is going pretty cheap. And get his set of armor. It's a Nemesis Magnus, but it's just as cool.
(I wonder if anyone's had the balls to do a custom repaint of this Commander set yet. Hmmm.)

I choose to think of the armor set as more of an armor that is made specifically for the Optimus Prime type bots.. and that Nemesis being a clone of Prime gets one as well.. and since Magnus is prime's brother, he also has one..
that's just me..

I hate to ask so many questions. But how big is your collection?
And on a shelf how much room does the complete armor set take up?
The second question I ask so I can get a personal refference to go by if I do buy Shadow Commander.
Dear: Adam,
Thank you for contacting Hasbro, Inc. regarding the above-referenced new product ideas. We appreciate your interest in our company.
As you can imagine, each year we receive many contacts and inquiries such as yours, and while we appreciate hearing from our friends and consumers, we must advise you that we do not accept unsolicited submissions for review.
For many years it has been and remains our company’s policy to decline offers to consider unsolicited external ideas or suggestions. We depend on employees and other organizations with whom we deal on a regular basis for such ideas. Also, the toy and game industry has had the unfortunate experience of lawsuits being filed by individuals who allege misappropriation for their ideas as a result of a company’s consideration of even the most general concept, and we simply cannot assume such risks. Therefore, we do not encourage the submission of ideas by individuals who are not directly associated with our company or its agents.
In accordance with our policy, we are enclosing the material you sent to us, which we have neither copied nor reviewed.
Sincerely,
HASBRO LEGAL DEPARTMENT

That's not entirely true.
The animated figures that we'll be getting around Christmas are due to fan requests. Universe returning was due to fan demand, as was Onslaught repainted as Hardhead.
A single person's voice doesn't mean jack all to any industry, Hasbro, Marvel, Coca-Cola, Ford yadda-yadda. The only way to get our voices heard is to speak as a chorus.

For one, no matter what you do, once submitted, by law it immediately becomes the company's legal property, especially if you do not set a price on it! The avoidance of lawsuits is to merely avoid wasting valuable resources and time, as they can be pretty damaging.
In other words, if you have a great idea, let the companies come to you instead of the other way around. That's how all those products on those Home Shopping channels came to beThe fans had ideas and requests, Hasbro came and listened.
Convotron wrote:My thinking is that Hasbro's response was one part normal protocol for addressing suggestions and one part "we're just saying this because we have to, legal blah blah blah". It's apparent that Hasbro does listen to fan suggestions, it's just that I don't think they can come out and say "Great idea! We'll use it in the next line." due to the legal quagmire that surrounds this kind of situation.
skywarp-2 wrote:yeah you make good sense there..
but was there a chorus requesting a crasher, which we got in the form of Fracture??
yeah, if they wanted some ideas that they may not have thought the fandom is the place to go.. here on seibertron.com

Probably not, but not everything Hasbro does is due to fan requests.

I'm willing to bet that Hasbro reps lurk here every day. Maybe a few post here under guises of fans, I don't know. But they know we exist and that we can, every now and then, come up with some damn good ideas.

Quite a few people suspected you of that for a while...
Not naming names, but there was chatter.

I did. I called him on it too. When he came back that was why I remembered him! It was his repaint idea and feedback threads and the mountain of images he threw into every post. We're cool now though. Hell, I'm ordering an extra TFCC Punch and FansProject CC Rifle & Missles for him!

One of the greatest compliments I ever received about Seibertron.com was an unintentional compliment from Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner's 10 year old daughter at BotCon 2007. Brian introduced me to his daughter, told her I was the owner of Seibertron.com, and then she stated "That's the website you check out every night before you go to bed!" Brian blushed/grinned, whatever. It was a true highlight in my Seibertron.com life. One of the greatest compliments I could receive without it actually being a compliment.

This is so cool! The honest truth is that there are many fan communities with forums and sites out there but I haven't come across any that match seibertron.com for its site layout and content(the photo galleries are second to none) and more importantly, the community is just awesome.
