They were arm-wrestling sort-of and it looked like they were equal in strength. Am I interpreting this scene incorrectly?
there is no trailer for "Avengers: Civil War"
its "CAPTAIN AMERICA; Civil War"
and Bucky is about as strong as Cap
You do realise he does that sort of thing intentionally to troll yeah?
A change of name, a slight change of stance, and he manages to fool almost everyone. Even I'm not sure that's who I think it is.

And the rest of us have to wait until next week. Odd that Captain America is playing everywhere except for America.

Burn wrote:Simply put, this movie is awesome, and if it's an indication of what the Russo Brothers are capable of, then the Infinity War movies are going to be awesome as well.
This is very much a Captain America movie, while there's a lot of other Avengers (and a couple of newbies), the story continues to build on what The First Avenger and Winter Soldier had established.
Great introduction of T'challa/Black Panther. Very much looking forward to his solo outing now.
Spider-Man? Going to reserve my opinion on Tom Holland until his solo outing as well. Speaking of Spider-Man ... the whole "Civil War" is about reigning in The Avengers, reigning in responsibility. Which is why I disliked the way Stark turns up at the Parker residence and recruits a teenager who has had his abilities for six months, and flies him around the world to put him smack bang in an all out super-powered brawl. To me that just screams irresponsible.
Other characters ...
It appears they're going to explore the Scarlet Witch/Vision relationship. Both had a great outing in this movie as their characters were already established, allowing them to build on them.
Falcon also had the benefit of having his character established and they built on his character, plus his wings abilities. Loved how they worked as a shield. Plus ... REDWING! (Of sorts)
Black Widow / Hawkeye ... these guys are effectively veterans of the MCU and it shows. While they had their screen time, they took a back seat.
Scott Lang - While his time was limited, he was still fun, if anything his presence was only to show off Giant Man.
Stark - If anyone has an overall story arc in the MCU, it's Tony Stark. Iron Man began the journey and we've watched him deal with his near death in Avengers, and the break down of his relationship with Pepper, to his transition from active combatant to management. This movie continued that story as he's confronted with the truth ... that the Winter Soldier killed his parents ... and Steve knew about it.
The story of Peggy Carter comes to an end with her passing, and the revelation that her and Sharon were related.
Definitely worth seeing.

Knowing them, they're definitely taking notes. They're completely skipping over the part about why it works for Marvel, but they're totally taking notes.

Rodimus Prime wrote:I just got back from seeing Civil War. It was good. Not great, there have been definitely better Marvel movies. It did have some great moments, though. Giant Man, "Mr. Stank"and of course the airport fight. Awesome. I liked Spider-Man as well, it looked like his best version on screen so far. Hopefully the actual movie with Tom Holland will be as good. I think Cap was wrong with trying to protect Bucky. He was putting his personal feelings above justice. I understand that Bucky was under mind-control, but he shouldn't get off scott-free, and just freezing him wasn't the right punishment. At 1st I actually wanted Tony to kill him, but I knew that wouldn't happen in a Marvel movie, and it would have been wrong. But he did deserve a severe ass-beating, as did Rogers for protecting him. I hope Tony gets his vengeance down the road. Oh, and Widow is now a backstabbing bitch. But what should I expect from a double agent in the 1st place anyway. Overall, I did like it, and I still say it should have been called an Avengers movie, not a Captain America movie.

Nemesis Maximo wrote:I don't necessarily agree that. Icky should be outright punished, but shouldn't Cap go about this whole movie differently? To me it seemed like his whole reason for not signing the accords was "I'm not doing it because I don't like it and my childhood friend is more important than being reasonable and logical."
He should've tried at least explaining to Tony what Zemo was doing in the interrogation. Wouldn't a German Sokovian doctor saying the words "I want to see an empire fall" in thT exact order raise some pretty big red flags? He never once mentioned that to Tony.
