All of the 1984-1985 Autobot cars were based on real world licensed vehicles.GuyIncognito wrote:Is this one based on a licensed car, like the other Autobot car MPs? In other words, is this going to be Japan-only as well? I was hoping there'd be at least one Autobot car that Hasbro could release in the U.S.

It got merged because they simply don't need two or three separate threads for the same topic.

What was wrong with the Prime Deluxe? That one is the best and most accurate version of that Wheeljack.

I almost don't care if he will be decked out in proper G1 toy 'Alitalla' colors or if he will be in the simpler colors like in the animation. Although official Alitalia sponsoring would be icing on the cake.

I do and brought it up shortly after the initial news that Wheeljack was next in line for an MP treatment, and someone on here VEHEMENTLY disagreed with me. But I still see it! the basic bot mode shape is pretty similar and the transformation scheme is close enough, from what I know of G1 toys I don't actually own, anyway. But I could totally see it.
As for the sponsors, I'm guessing he'll be done up in a simplified engrish scheme a-la Smokescreen, who is also based on a real-world racing car.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

umm look at the comparison pics, he is 100% exactly as the real world car down to the vent count on the hood.

Seiberton.com's most negative poster having a go at others for being negative?
Of and shame on you DM and your sarcasm.
