Love it, I'll be buying if it's leader scale.
Don't see any rotate swivels in the arms.
Some TFW forum members are speculating that this might be 18cm, 7 inches.
I'm thinking they are wrong and its bigger. since the robot thighs, fist, arms look too beefy.

This looks promising. I'd like it if it matched Hasbro's Orion Pax. THen again, I want a larger Orion Pax figure.

It's difficult to judge a figure based on beefyness. What I would recommend is looking at his hands. Why? Because if you assume that the hands have the HasTak-standard 5mm hole, then you can sort of judge the rest of the figure.
If that's a 5mm hole (and let's be fair, it could very well not be), then we're looking at a largish voyager IMO.
Who knows? He may be awesome enough to replace ToyWorld's Megatron.

Oh wow, we went since 2005 without a figure based on this design, and now we're getting two. I was going to say that we should merge this thread with the previous one, but now that I look at it, this version is more comic accurate than the Shadow Samurai 01 Vetron version.

Yes this is a tank Megatron. No it isn't based off of the War Within design.

1.0 Voyager Optimus is a 6.4 inches tall robot mode. MS-01 might be 6.7 inches tall from head to toe in robot mode.
I won't be buying MS-01, As it's not a leader scale toy.

Look at the picture of him pointing his arm cannon forward and slightly up. You can see the arm slightly twisted above the square block in the bicep.

I think I might have started the confusion with War Within. I was thinking about this to replace my Titanium War Within Megs as a pre-earth version. This is actually based off of more recent IDW stories, as I understand it. I remember seeing this design in some of the comics I had picked up, though I had not kept up with the current IDW line much. Some design/transformers cues are similar between this and the WW comics. But this is definitely not the WW design.
