Awesome pics and review, Yotsuyasan.
My own Metroplex I declared 'complete' with Six Sigma. I had enough problems putting on the stock stickers to bother with more.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

You could read the review I linked to in my most recent post...
For convienience, I shall link it again here.
And for a "short version" answer to your question... The left over bits transform into this:

...which, on the surface, is intended as a tower / weapon emplacement for Metroplex's city mode. But it does balance and stay upright quite well on its own, so you could also set it on the ground as a stand-alone automated weapon battery, so as to get some use out of it while Metroplex is walking around with Six-Gun's legs as guns. This is what I do, at least. It seems a better option then just tossing the piece aside.

If I had put on the stock stickers first, I am sure I would have been fed up and declared myself done stickering my Metroplex, as well. Fortunately, I didn't apply a single sticker until I had the Reprolabels ones, and then chose which ones I wanted from both options (mostly favoring the Reprolabels, but still using a few stock ones).

So it can't be attached in robot mode. I'm sure I can find a place for it if I get 6 Sigma. And for a "short version" answer to your question... The left over bits transform into this:

Well, I did once see a photo of someone, proud to have found a way to incorporate all of the parts into all of the modes, who had attached it to the robot mode... But it involved leaving the side of the chest containing the city mode's helipad open (necessitating also leaving that side's arm folded behind the back!) and plugging the tower in in the same way it would be for city mode.
It looked stupid, it was bad, and the person who did it should feel bad.
Personally, I am just happy it can stand up well on its own so that it can be used as I suggested. It already beats the G1 version, where you just tossed the corresponding pieces aside when not using them as part of Six-Gun or as a tower for city mode.

Man, I was trying to avoid the temptation to play with him some more at the moment, especially since I had him displayed as guns and didn't want to disturb Metroplex. But I just had to have some more quality time with my new Six-Gun!
Here's a brand new photo, not in my review. It's Six-Gun hanging out with some Decepticons... depending on how you count them, either three or sixteen of them. And Six-Gun still manages to look pretty darn imposing in that company!

Sixgun is really one of my favorite figures, I really wish I had excuses to fiddle with him more.

Just want to point out that you can oeg the turret Sigma Six transforms into behind Metroplex's head. Only one post actually pegs in and it sits at just a bit of an angle, but it works. No need to set it aside.

The mighty Six-Gun towers over all!

(I guess I could kind of almost see why some people may have preferred the Legends sized Six-Gun being offered... But eh, whatever. I have the Six-Gun I need and I am happy with him!
)
Sorry... what? I assume "oeg" is a typo for "peg..." But how exactly does he peg in behind Metroplex's head? I don't suppose you can supply any photos of this alleged functionality...

Wow! Was it that the friction fit of the knee halves (or parts around the mushroom peg) failed? How was it originally held together? I wonder if model cement would do well to sort of melt the parts together. If I do end up getting MegaMoonMan's Metroplex upgrades (and I have been seriously thinking about it) I'll be sure to keep an eye on this area.
(Also, I'm not sure if I mentioned it before, but thanks for the shout out on the B&A leg gun placement in city mode.

Thought I explained it well, but here's an illustration of the break:

As for why specifically it broke, I could not say. I just picked him up and, as normally as I ever would, straightened out his leg. The leg came off in my hand, and when I looked closer I saw the break.
Superglue seems to be holding... But since reattaching the leg, I've only completed transforming him into carrier mode. I've yet to have him in robot mode, move around his leg much (other then what I needed to do to transform him the once), or have him stand on the leg for any period of time. I guess we'll see what happens when I do next transform him!

Thanks! Always good to feel appreciated!
And thank you for the great idea on how to attach those guns!

Thanks for the clarification (and accompanying diagram, sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words, and I haven't had my coffee yet this morning...) Ah, so we're looking at a clear break in the plastic. I wonder what orientation he printed these out. With additive manufacturing, layers are stacked on layers. The mushroom peg slot would make this slightly more difficult with perhaps the opening held in place with a support strut that was removed. Based on your diagram if it was layered from top to bottom (or bottom to top) it might have failed between layers, which could make sense as in my experience with 3D printing, the nature of cooling plastic could create a weakened bond between layers. If it was layered 90 degrees from this, then we are looking at a pure failure of the plastic. Given Metroplex's size and the load bearing nature of the knee, I am definitely rethinking this specific add-on. I still might get the ramp...

Based on the orientation of the light ridges on the surface of the pieces, yes, I would say that between layers is a pretty good possibility.

I have those add-on parts too. As a precaution I put some plastic lube that I had left over from Herc's hip fix in the joint, making it loose overall. Maybe using that would help overall? I haven't kept mine in a bent position, so I can't attest to it's durability in that respect.

So did anyone pick up the upgrade set by MGS? It's the last upgrade for MP that I'm highly considering and no where is there a video review for this set. So before I buy I'd like to know if anyone can weigh in on this one.
This will be final upgrade (provided I do buy) before I begin the massive work of opening all the other 3P stuff and open up TG-23 for the first time!
