Unfortunately I've no love for the combined mode. Damn shame.

That, plus AoE stuff coming and XTransbots sets doing kinda the same thing for half the price (actually, half the price and lower) and whatever 3rd party stuff comes out this summer, I just can't swing it.
Though, the disassembly issue, is the biggest roadblock to me.

I have to completely agree with this. I love how this looks. But I think money is going to have to go somewhere else.
Plus, my FoC Twin Twist has a mis-assembled leg and I am having a devil of a time getting the pin out. I don't think I want to go through that again.

Wait you have to knock out pins to assumable this thing?

Arctorro wrote:It looks every bit as good as I was expecting! That said, I'm a little pissed they are going with retail colours first after teasing with PE/SDCC colours

Blurrz wrote:Hopefully they change it, as $10 is still a difference that will be used to get the 'arms' of Bruticus as I have yet to buy those two.
I've disassembled both my (now repainted) retail guys and the Platinum guys and it is nowhere near as bad as you might think.Autobot032 wrote:Looks great, but I don't like the whole having to be disassembled part of the set.

No pins need to be removed to form the arms, Blast Off and Vortex come apart very easily.mooncake623 wrote:Agamemnon wrote:I have to completely agree with this. I love how this looks. But I think money is going to have to go somewhere else.

I'm fairly certain that they will be doing a PE/SDCC version, at least when someone on TFW contacted them that's what they implied.Sodan-1 wrote:I don't have a WFC or FoC collection, so as I've said previously my biggest issue with this set was trying to accept Combaticons with Cybertronian alt. forms. Onslaught is a pretty nice design and the overall package that is Bruticus is spectacular.
However, so long as Microblaze is only putting out a set coloured to go with the general retail version then I have absolutely no problem skipping this.

If I can get a PE set at a good discount, and these guys actually put one out in those colors, I may bite ... but that is a lot of IF.
