I just barely began unboxing Spoiler Nemesis. I plan to post comparison pictures with ER Optimus and to give my impression later.

But for now I just have to ask:

Magnus had them also, obviously not part of the show, I dont think anybody really knows their purpose. As a parent, unfortunately it reminds me of Baby's First Diaper.... :SICK:

Never seen those fossil digging toys? Same principle... sorta. I still don't see the appeal of slime as a kid's toy, especially "home-made" with a special type of glue... 8-}

Seems like the deluxes got dumped all around the same time, but despite 4 to 5 of each, all the Bumblebee's are gone. I'm glad I got the two I needed immediately.

A key point to the show is that Bumblebee is an energon scavenger so this is meant to recreate that function thematically.

Found the deluxes here in Denver.

No voyagers or leader although a number of WalMarts near me did get restocked with multiples cases of the first wave’s voyagers.

Either that or they had them sitting in the back for months on end for some reason because these same stores didn’t have any on the shelves for the past couple of months.

Kind of weird.

Too lazy to post pictures so here's my impressions.

My Nemesis trailer is warped all around when open but once closed into trailer mode, it fix it. Maybe by leaving it there will be enough. The trailer, being completely black and naked save for the

banner on the side work perfectly. I don't feel the need of any repros. Sliutherfang is nice to have again and that sword-bird is a "why not". The big sword and the gun are nice despite going nowhere on the vehicle.

The biggest disapointment of the set are the huge "smokestacks gun". They are unmodded from their PotP origins. They still have that double 5mm pegs under. And because of that, they can only plug on Optimus's arms in bot mode and that's it. They can't go on the truck nor the trailer. What a waste. Instead of those they could have given us a second Slitherfang.

The biggest surprise was for Nemesis himself. I never had the Siege Optimus so I was going blind. The transformation is VERY complex. Even more so than Earthrise! I hated Siege Optimus vehicle mode with a passion. That daff truck with a "baseball cap".... But on Nemesis Prime, that same vehicle is PERFECTION. It make complete sense for the character who is EVIL and aggressive.

Overall, worth the full price? If the only true flaws are in some pointless accsories, then yes. Go buy it! ;)^

Here's where I'm at with this line--

Soundwave and Bee will be bought if I ever see them.
As much as I like the look of both Nemesis and Optimus, I'm going to take my chances, wait it out, and hope that if I find them that they're on a good sale.
Considering I'm looking for Thrust, Bluestreak, and may even have a tough time passing on Sunstreaker if I see him (knowing the differences in yellows aren't really an issue), I'll hold off on those other two and hang onto $90+.

Stopped by a walmart today on my way home from the doctor. They had two Voyager Optimuses but no Soundwaves nor any deluxes to be seen, not even wave 1..... not even Earthrise. or maybe there were 2 Ironworks, but it was a piss-poor selection. But at least I know they're showing up.

This was in Georgia.

The only one I really want is Bee. I thought about getting Elita, but her colors are off and she should be a voyager.

Can someone remind me what Decepticon Mirage's significance is? Was he even in the show or was it strictly a redeco?

For about 3 minutes Mirage pretended to be a Decepticon. It's been a while since I watched it, but I'm not sure he looked like the toy when he did it.

He almost exactly matched the toy deco, yes. I personally use the figure as a separate character regardless, but I remember going "Oh hey he did the thing" when that scene happened.

He did look like the toy, yes.

Outside of the show, Decepticon Mirage also made a cameo appearance in the Generations Selects manga, in Abominus's second chapter, as a form of Mirage corrupted by Angolmois Energy (alongside Rodimus Unicronus, Scrapface, and Selects SG Ratchet also being used as corrupted forms of Hot Rod, Reflector, and Ratchet, respectively).

So today while I had a minuts, I stopped by two Walmarts in the hopes to find Bumblebee. The closest I got was a guy happened to be in front me in the isle and snagged him. :BANG_HEAD:

So close, WTH! Anyways, I think for myself this is going to become a pilgrimage to find Bumblebee. A positive note for other in my neck of the woods, they at least had 2 each of the other four.

Guess Bumblebee will be the one to find!

Bee as #1 and Elita as #2 makes sense as they are unique to this Netflix offshoot and never released in the main Generations line, although BB being a legacy character and an extensive retool (Elita-1 being a bit less so of each) it is still good they both came 2 per case.

Opinions may vary on the rest (Wheeljack, Red Alert, Impactor). as they were both readily available in their respective lines, and this is the 3rd Impactor variant, not sure how much demand there is for it (outside of Impactor fans of course that is

)

Based on the stores I've seen, Wheeljack is by far the one nobody wants. In fact, he was the only one I could find until yesterday when I saw Red Alert and Impactor.

I have Bee on pre-order, but would feel a whole lot more comfortable finding him in stores than hoping Walmart doesn't screw me over on the pre-order.

Another reason to find them in stores is the price. I was charged $17.88 for the deluxe figures in-store while the pre-order price is $19.99.

I absolutely cannot believe it...
I snagged Soundwave from my local Walmart!!!
He was literally the only NF figure there; lots of Cyberverse, & a decent amount of SS...
Being my favorite character, I really thought he’d end up being the last figure I’d find (if ever) out of what I’m hunting...
My stores have been DRY... So keep an eye out if you’re looking!
I’m in KC, Missouri, so these guys aren’t just on the coasts anymore!!
