I got TR Trypticon out of Layaway at TRU, and had to put him in storage for a month with my other stuff before we finally got to open and enjoy him after the move was done... Fun times....
Appreciate it!! Yeah, there won't be anything close to a room for my collection. And not that it needs its own room... But at least half of it will be in storage. I'll probably display portions at various times and rotate stuff in and out. We will have a room where I have my painting easel set up, so that's where my figures will be. But of course it won't just be mine, so real estate will most likely be limited.
But thanks again. Take it easy, and be safe!

I left the empty case just sitting there which I feel a little bad about, but I don't know what else I should have done with it. Simply opening the case felt a bit scandalous, even if the product is on the sale floor, not street dated, and surrounded by two other figures from the same assortment.
Anyway. Here's some comparison photos.
I do wish the Netflix edition had the red bands on the wrists and guns.... actually I think the blue is the same, so I could just swap them before I sell off Siege... Then again the gray plastic is different. No winning I guess. I'm actually surprised that the head is a new sculpt, the pictures made it seem like they only changed the light piping. The yellow instead of gold on the chest door is jarring. Honestly I was quite satisfied with the Siege mold, I just wanted it without the battle damage, but this works.
The cassettes are good but there seems to be some very slight warping on Netflix Soundwave's arms, because Laserbeak doesn't fit snug in the grooves. (I tested both Laserbeaks on both Siege and Netflix and determined where the problem lies) Nonetheless he will make a fine addition to my shelf.
The hunt for Bumblebee continues.

And yes, I was that crazy Walmart person as I did a brief happy dance after pulling her off the peg. Otherwise, between the two Walmarts for Wave 2 Wheeljack seems to be the pegwarmer of the bunch, followed by Red Alert. I also only saw one Wave 2 voyager in OP, and the shelves were still clogged with Megatrons and Hotlinks.

My pilgrimage of finding Bumblebee is over. Stopped back by the one Walmart I had seen him at and there he was on the shelf. Again, the only one of him. They had restocked of course so there was plenty of the other four deluxes.
Just nice to finally snag him!

The hunt for Bumblebee concluded faster than expected. First store I went to today was fully stocked.
For the sake of a friend, I bought two, then continued my hunt to the next store to try to find him a Soundwave. They had three.
Moral of the story: I should have gone south yesterday instead of north.
Here he is with his eternal mold mate.
And now I'm gonna get sentimental. Here's my classics figures, who are officially all replaced. They had good runs, some longer than others (tbh I only got Megatron about 3 years ago). It's interesting to close the book on the line that kick-started the G1 revitalization and formed the core of my display shelf. They're all good molds, but it's time for the new versions to shine. I might sell the seekers and put the rest in storage or something.

I can relate. I still really love a lot of the figures from the Classics line, and retiring some of them has not been so easy. I particularly like Voyager Prime (other than his arm kibble) and Rodimus, even though both characters have had numerous updated figures in the last decade. I'm probably in a very small minority, but Classics Bumblebee is still my favourite non-Bayverse iteration of the character, which is why I haven't felt compelled to snap up the new Netflix figure (which I actually saw a week ago). And while I have picked up plenty of Starscreams and Seekers since Classics, I've accumulated so many copies of that mold that they comfortably remain my "official" versions of the G1 line-up. The only Siege Seekers I got are Redwing and Hotlink, and my only purchase of the Earthrise mold is G2 Sandstorm.

The ones in my area are stocked also, just with the wrong product. I'm not complaining in that I did find the Netflix deluxes on my want list, but they (and ER) sell fast, and are not restocked efficiently, whereas SS and Cyberverse especially sit and warm pegs.

I see that in my walmarts as well but I wouldn't call it a fair comparison on my end since the earthrise products were priced to be liquidated. And even then, at 7$ US it took a week for all the ironworks to sell. The Siege products unsold from black friday and back at full price are still there, for instance. For SS, at first glance it does seem like it doesnt sell as well but it really depends on the characters. Do you see a ton of Movie 1 Megatrons warming the shelves? How About Leader Megatron and Jetfire? Or voyager Sentinel Prime or Blitzwing? Those seem to have sold just as fast as anything from the WFC line.
And for Cyberverse, do you see a lot of Cyberverse deluxe Primes or Bees? How about Ultimate Class Prime and Bee?
Oh and I still see a ton of unsold Grapples everywhere I go. Did all the Grapples in your area sell?

I'm as surprised as you! I went in expecting to be disappointed again, since like I said I hit the 4 Walmarts north of me on Friday night and, while they clearly had received the new stuff, they were picked clean by the time I got there. When I got to the pictured location and they had two cases of Netflix deluxes hanging from the pegs I was floored. That said I don't think they even had Optimus from the voyager selection, that's the tradeoff, I found the three Soundwaves at another store a bit further out, and they were down to a few Wheeljacks and Impactors from the deluxe assortment. I believe that second location is also the one that had a Studio Series leader DOTM Megatron and ROTF Jetfire mingling with the Scavengers, I'm not following SS very closely so I don't know how long those have been hanging about but I know it's been a bit. ALSO, and I should probably post this in the deals thread, that second walmart had ER Voyagers on clearance at $17. They had 3 Grapples, a Snapdragon, and a Starscream, I grabbed Screamer for parts. Very unusual day.

Fortunately for me, I only ever got the two seekers shown here: Starscream and Ramjet. I almost got the Ultra Magnus/Skywarp 2-pack back in the day, but of course being 16 years old at the time I didn't have as much liquidity, and I didn't want to waste money on molds I already had. Now I'm making big boy money, I've elected to go all in on the Earthrise mold. I definitely agree that Prime and BB are great molds to this day, but I think the articulation on WFC Bee is enough to edge out the ingenuity of Classics. I'll still hold onto him though. Maybe one day I'll have the room to start up a variants shelf of stuff that doesn't fit on my main display.

My local Walmarts keep restocking Grapple and Starscream, they've got tons of him. SS does seem to sell really well since it's mostly Grapple and Snapdragon that I see on shelves. Problem is they have a few more Grapples on the top shelf still in the case waiting to move down. This is why I'm sure I'll never see the Quintesson Judge and Megatron in stores. My Walmarts didn't do WfC clearances so I'm stuck with them until they sell.
Only SS Voyagers I see at Walmart or Target is Skipjack and Scrapper which means there must be a revision case of just those two because they both showed up at the same time everywhere I go when the shelves get restocked. No sign of Sentinel Prime or Blitzwing. Similarly I see a lot of Overloads and Scavengers on the shelves at Walmart, but no Shockwaves even though he's a shelf warmer at Target. It's like Hasbro decided to just pack the yellow guys and red guys together.
To be on topic, I did find Bumblebee Saturday like it seems a few other people here have, and Optimus came in from Walmart.com this afternoon. I just need the other four Deluxes to complete series 2.

I do know some of you on here have already found him in the stores but going back to Ultra Magnus, I only spotted 3 maybe four over a period of time. So between selling fast, low numbers distributed or location it might be the same for Nemesis Prime, at least in my neck of the woods.
My local Walmart never bothering to have any Netflix figures, and Nemesis Prime being much more desirable than Ultra Magnus, I had no choice but to buy him online. I got it at normal retail plus shipping ironically due to Cyber Monday.
If you really want a Nemesis, you should buy him from an online store as well. It will be worth the extra 10-20$ more for shipping.

@Kanbrat, definitely good point as well, depending on how bad you want Nemesis Prime, online might be the way to go.
