Memory Alpha wrote:A dedication plaque is a commemorative plate that is displayed on the bridge of most Starfleet starships.
The plaque commonly displays the name of the ship, as well as its class and shipyard of origin. Many more recent plaques also display the ship's official motto, plus a list of notable Starfleet officers involved in the assembly of the vessel.
In real life, the list of "officers" is actually a list of notable production staff members from the various television sets. "Admiral" Gene Roddenberry is commonly listed as the Starfleet Chief of Staff.

I used to be into Star Trek like you in the early 90's I grew out of it because of Voyager and the last couple of seasons of DS9
I guess after Gene Roddenberry died his show went off course

Well not necessarily, Enterprise does leave some room when they explain the forehead thing. They mention something about how there business for forehead implants. Or maybe during the movie the genetic disease hasn't hit all the Klingons yet...

This is set before Kirk's 5 year mission, and after Enterprise, so they have to have smooth heads. I rekon they'll only be in the Kobyashi Maru, since we know that's already in there. But what would be a Trek movie without at least some reference to Klingons?
Wheeljack35 wrote:Um no during the run of the origional series the klingons had no bumpy heads
The first bumpy heads came in ST:TMP

I would like to agree. There is also the possiblity that we could see some Klingons that never got infected with the virus in the first place.

I tend to just think that the writers meant that the virus only infected the Klingons for a short time and was cured around the time of the first movie.
Seems like Klingons are really proud of their bumpy foreheads, maybe the fact that humans, in a way, are responsible for the virus is what make Klingons hate humans so much during the Kirk years.
