Close Barricade. Next time, try it in red!
Also, Prime was Barren.
And there was a few debates on that which would go on for twenty odd pages..Ramrider wrote:This is a nice simple one.

Well, ALL of them were started by Tramp.Zombie Starscream wrote:And there was a few debates on that which would go on for twenty odd pages..Ramrider wrote:This is a nice simple one.

Can Tfs Have Babies?
Where do the Babies Grow Inside Them?
Do Tfs have Genders?
How do Tfs Reproduce?
Not the titles exactly, but you get the idea. Basically, the threads are interesting, but after a while they have a tendancy to get heated and some members getting temp banned.

I don't know if they can or can't have babies. All I know is that Transformer sex would be extremely loud.
Sloptank wrote:Actual descendants? No, not really. I think that perhaps Cybertronians, upon the creation of a new shell and the addition of a recurrent spark from the Allspark, might take to mentoring a new Transformer. This would account for Kup being like a cranky uncle to Hot Rod, and also for Ironhide being an uncool dweeb around Hot Shot in Energon.
Then again, maturity level depends on the spark itself, as characters like Rumble and the Battlechargers seem to lack any signs of responsibility.
I think that the issue of gender boils down to simple mannerisms and disposition. I like the idea of defined male and female types in Transformers, but frankly it's hard to justify and even harder to fathom the logistics. The only explanation I can come up with revolves around the mysterious creators of the Transformers (assuming it's not actually the Quintessons) infused them with aspects of their own physiology. Personality and disposition aren't exactly part of the equation for building reliable service and military drones.
It's convenient, of course, to have the Cybertronians be able to relate to humans through their emotions and demeanors. People like Bumblebee because he's undeniably likable, after all. Perhaps an older organic race was the basis for the Transformers' development. Observation of organic species with gender, emotion and social tructure became the basis for their own nascent society. Pure speculation, of course.
Man, I gotta stop lettin' Shamble use the keyboard while I'm away gettin' a doughnut.

I think you missed the part where everyone said Lio Junior was Lio Convoy's son
in that if they showed G1 Prime in the BW japan show it wouldn't be Lio Convoy? your absolutely right.Sledge wrote:I'm not particularly interested in Beast Wars, but wasn't Lio Convoy a seperate character from Optimus Prime?

He's more likely to be a descendant/ built after/ closer relation to... G1 Prime than Primal was. They did give him a matrix after all. but anyone with a faceplate and OP color deco could apply for one then... Primal was even given one for his BW movie cameo!
yes they're seperate characters
Convobat may have been Optimus Prime but they decided he made a better Batman
really... don't look him up
