Here are the BotBots I didn't post the other day. Finally found some at Winners and Dollarama (two market six chains in Canada). BUT the big deal of the day was finding Castle Greyskull for $35 CAD, which is $27 USD. Also got the Landshark for $7 USD. Walmart is just liquidating all that merch. And that's a transforming Power Ranger from SPD that I found at a thrift shop.

I said that I'll no longer shop at Toys R Us because of their outrageous prices.

But for Select DK-2 Guard, they are the only option. A bummer having to pay actual voyager price for a deluxe, but it's not too bad because the ER Ironhide mold is a "deluxe plus".

Let's hope he'll feel good in hand.

Walmart still had a few Kingdom figures left on clearance so I picked up a spare Tigatron to squirrel away and a third Wingfinger because you can never have enough Fossilizers. Some day I need to get around to making something out of all these.

Was supposed to have a BBTS box show up Friday, but FedEx changed it to Tuesday at some point Friday.

I also have two boxes coming from Mandarake because the super low exchange rate making up for the ridiculous shipping costs. Little bit of everything in there, some vintage Beast Wars, some Universe FOC Voyagers, some Go, some movie stuff. Hopefully the first box shows up next week, the second one hasn't been packed yet and I hope they get all of it filled because two of the four things in there are minor grails that I've wanted for a long time.

Mentioned in the UT thread, but I recently acquired the Energon (well, Superlink) Constructicons. I love this set, probably my favourite of the three combiner teams.

Also preordered Legacy Buzzsaw and Sandstorm, so looking forward to getting them in!

Transformers Monday for me! Got a ton of stuff today. First a Walmart run scored me a reissue Cybershark and the clearance aisle got me a spare Kingdom Rhinox for $10 and a Blackarachnia for $7!

Then I got my first of two boxes from Mandarake:

Transformers Go! Guren Dragotron for 4500JPY ($35.50) This is the last monster I needed from the Go! line. Domestic prices are too much, and usually these are cheap on Manda, but the shipping is high. Price seems to be going up, but the exchange rate is great right now so I went for it.

Revenge of the Fallen Leader Megatron for 1500JPY ($11.50) This one is loose in box, but it looks like someone just took it off the tray and stuck it back in, missiles are still twist tied in. I need this to go with my Premium Series first movie Megatron, and DOTM and TLK big Leader Megatrons. Shame we never got a big Galvatron.

Infobar Optimus Prime for 1500JPY ($11.50) It's a dumb promotional tie in for a Japanese phone, but I like the ridiculousness of it and it'll look good on the Prime shelf. It's unopened but these aren't really worth much and the box didn't take up much space.

Premium Finish SS Ratchet for 2800JPY ($21.50) Unopened and undamaged box. Had this on order at Hasbro Pulse, but cancelled it when I saw this. Getting a PF figure for less than I can get a Deluxe for at Walmart is hard to pass up.

On the down side the shipping was 9800JPY ($75.30) but more than half of that was for Dragotron's big box, I ordered the rest of the stuff to help make it more worthwhile, though that Megatron is pretty heavy. Shipping on the second box is much more reasonable.

Oh, I do for sure, it's a good time for Americans to buy from Mandarake again, especially now that they do shipping estimates for all of their stores, not just the Sahra one.

What doesn't make me feel lucky is having both a $42 Armada Powerlinx Jetfire (about $76 after shipping) and a $38 GF Master Megatron ($81 after shipping) sell out from my cart before I could complete the order. Hate missing such good deals. Then again it's my own dumb fault for not buying these back in the day when I could.

Another box from Mandarake, some really good deals this time around!

Takara Tomy TG14 Fall of Cybertron Soundblaster for 3500JPY ($27) Unopened. It isn't a great toy, but it is a fun one to play around with. I passed on the Hasbro FOC line and got the entire Takara Tomy Run for their superior decos, but I passed on the TT Voyagers (and "tapes") because they were expensive and went with the Hasbro versions. This fills that void for me.

Takara Tomy Fall of Cybertron Fireblast Grimlock 4500JPY ($35) Unopened. I've wanted this guy ever since he was first revealed, but he was exclusive to a store that didn't ship outside Japan so he always felt a little out of reach (I did get the other exclusive at the time, FOC Thundercracker, on Mandarake a few years ago). Now he's the same price as a modern Voyager. I would buy any Grimlock figure in these colors, it's so cool!

Beast Wars Neo Backwater Showdown: Rockbuster VS Hydra 5000JPY ($38.60) Opened. I have wanted that Razorclaw VHS repaint since the 90s, but only ever found the much less interesting Airrazor set. It's such a great looking figure that really pops. Then it got slightly altered for Rockbuster in BWN and my want for it just kept going up. But it isn't an easy figure to get, certainly not for cheap in good condition. And here it is with Hydra, a superior repaint of BW Lazerbeak IMO, and the two are priced far less than what two Hasbro reissue Basic Rattraps go for! Unbelievable price!

And this time around shipping was only 4900JPY ($38) which is about what I usually pay for my orders from AmiAmi.
