His next post will be something like..

"I cant believe you guys like this trash. How can you like this? honestly, you know it's garbage, just admit it. Spielberg would do so muhc better. You all know its true."

etc, etc etc. THen when you give your reply as to why you like it, he pretty much treats you as an inferior being because you like something he doest.

I really want to meet this person, in person. Would liek to see what hteir normal day consists of, when they aren't on here.

decepticonjon wrote:i think bryan singer could probably pull it off well.. x-men, x2, great comic/toy/cartoon type flick. but it's great. it has:
character development
jokes making fun of itself w/o piss jokes
intruiging story
very few / if any plot holes
superb special fx (especially for being several years old)
human interaction, but not too much
military government involvment - much more realistically displayed

not trying to comapre the tf with any xmen, just showing that these type of movies can be done, and done quite well when all parties involved are excited about a franchise, understand it, and are able to make it seam much more "real life" than it really is

No..just no. I dont hate Singer and i liked the xmen fims and superman but i dont want him touching transformers. He will turn it from an action-packed, funny summer blockbuster in to a deep, over long and slow/too much character development story. There will be about 5 minutes of raw action in it and the rest will be soap opera.

And Ridley scott? He is a great director but this material really isnt his style. He directs oscar winning serious movies, not fun action summer block busters.

And Spielberg, although he is another great director, again i dont think he could pull off the job as well as bay has. Transformers NEEDS to be full of action, loveable characters, amazing CGI and MORE action. Spielberg would do what Singer would do except instead of 5 minutes of action thered be 10.

I say: BAY FTW!!

And up yours to ANYONE who thinks this movie sucks because of Bay. Those kinds of people have no taste and no idea what they are talking about.

Also, all because lots of people say its good, does not make it an objectively good movie. Lots of people loved Armageddon but that film was atrocious. Money don't mean anything...Shawshank Redemption hardly made any money but is considered one of the best films ever made...critically and by regular folk.

So, at the end of the day, you need to properly analyse Bayformers for what it is...a very bad film.

Sorry, but it's the truth. The film will be forgotten about very quickly.

This so called "truth" sounds more like the symptoms of you suffering from diarrhoea of the mouth rather than actual facts.

I agree.

I tried watching RID/Energon,(webisodes on hasbro site). It felt to much like Gundamn or something and i was never a fan of gundam because of the animations, so I never really watched anymore of it. Just not my style. And seeing prime *morph* with other bots all the time was annoying for me a bit. Those shows just were not my cup of tea, and are actually what made me get out of TF's for quite awhile, only coming back when I ran into a lot of money and continued with my G1 collection, then heard about this movie.

Guys, I don't want to be dissing on you guys...no way. I am an avid TF fan that really cares about the stuff. So if I think it's bad, I will be fully open about it. I believe that TF deserves a lot better than a sub-par attempt at comedy.

As an "avid tf fan" you should understand why people would get a bit miffed off when you come along and piss all over their beloved live action transformers film?

It would be like us ripping on G1 to you. How would that make you feel?

..exactly, so try to realize that many people love this movie as much as they could love TF's, and by seeing you piss all over it is like seeing a GoBots fan coming here and telling us that G1 Transformers is a load of crap.

Most of your FRACKING POSTS ARE DISSING ON PEOPLE. Are you that naive you can't even see that? You are amazing, I REALLY want to meet you.

You dont seem to post anywhere except the 2007 movie boards, why is that? Don't you have any Transformer topics that you are interested in?

If we think this movie is good, and think it did justice to the TF universe, we will be fully open about it. I believe, as do quite a few others, the film did a great job and was worth the wait. Here's the differece, if you say it sucks, we say ok, if we say it's good, you criticize us.

I wonder how long you'd last if you ran your mouth like this at the actual theatre.

Edit: notice again, how he didnt actually reply to anyone, just threw out another comment, might as well not have posted anything at all.

I believe that Transformers deserves more open minded fans that are willing to accept different things and changes without acting like they are "True Fans" and no one else is.

Yes, but that's only part of the point.

I'm comparing Conceptron to an old, now banned poster who believed anyone who liked Armada (Which there were a few) were non-fans.

Gosh, it pisses me off that I can't really reach you guys. Why do you guys have to settle for tripe like this...TF and you guys deserve better. View it as cheap entertainment, then you are happy...anything else, and it's complete garbage. Read the critic reviews that were negative...read the points they make. The very foundations of what make a good film are not evident or not done well in Bayformers. PLease, you can't walk away from that film and call it either good or okay.

No, it's never enough for any of 'em. They need to start as many threads as they can. It's all so we can see the error of our ways for enjoying the movie.

I mean come on, you didn't realize we'll all stupid asshat monkeys who aren't true fans cuz we like it. How stupid are we? Oh let them keep schooling us on this, cuz apparently we're not learning the lesson. :P

Guys, the troll is obviously letting smart people make the decisions for him (which is why he references reviews rather than watching it himself and letting the movie form the opinion on its own), so we probably ought to let him either a.) make our opinions for us, because his insight comes from highbrowed movie reviewers or b.) not feed him.

Bayformers was the rubbish I was subjected to for 2 hours. The bad comedy, and weak plot. Again? THE BAD COMEDY AND WEAK PLOT. Film was BAD, B.A.D....BAD. BAY IS A RUBBISH DIRECTOR WHO GETS TROUNCED BY CRITICS WHO KNOW ABOUT THE ART OF MAKING FILM.
