Merry Christmas to all!

No Transformers here, but I did score two Leslie Nielsen movies :-)

Home earlier today from the in-laws in Lowell, picked up TF Prime Bee and Arcee, along with the Walking Dead on DVD and, as a surprise, a Get Fuzzy book. Awesome.

Not too happy with the way Bee's chest parts flop, but he's ncie. Arcee is quite excellent, she's posing with her Movie and ROTF sisters now.

Verily, Happy New Year! If anyone needs HA Leadfoot, Target Rosemont has about a dozen, 29.99. A couple Gens Junkheaps and Sky Shadows still, too, 12.49. I get the feeling we may be paying full price for a while after the big holiday markdowns.

Finally found Sky Shadow and Junkheap at the Target on E. State in Rockford today. There is one Junkheap left as I procured one plus the Sky Shadow. Nothing else at any other E. State locations (wally world, TRU)

Has anyone got an extra E-Hobby Scrapheap they would be willing to sell/trade? Since I have Junkheap and Wreck-Gar I feel the need for a third Junkion.

...of course this has nothing to do with the fact that I am watching "The Three Amigos" with my wife right now...

Nothing of note near me.

Scattered Junkheap and Skyshadows floating around, TRU and Target.

Saw some Rescus Bots stuff at TRU and Targets.

Other than that I got nothing

I'm wondering how much longer of a "drought" we're going to be in. Part of the issue seems to be the onslaught of toys that came out during the first two months for DOTM. I have a feeling that a lot of those products were intended for release later in the year but it was decided at some point to release all of them as fast as they could, probably to keep up with retailer demand.

The good news is that Toy Fair 2012 is just around the corner so hopefully we'll be getting a bunch of peeks at upcoming products for the next year.

Des Plaines KMart had some TFs on clearance again, mainly the DOTM Human Alliance Flush Freezer Attack set ($11) and the Autobot Stunt Show Spectacular-rama set ($8).

Also the Bash-Bots, $5.50. I bought the Bee/Megatron set, I wanna find the others while I'm at it. What, they're fun.

Is it just me or did they make lass figures than they ever have for this movie? I just don't remember a drought ever being this long without anything new...we're not even getting prototype leaks or upcoming figure updates. Are they betting on the playsets selling to make up the difference? Because they sure aren't selling around here...even Ultimate Op is selling pretty well.

Part of the problem is that they came out with too much product too quickly when the DOTM toys first came out. They probably released six months worth of figures between May and July.

I'm hoping beyond hope that their move to the Vietnam factories has put an end to prototype leaks and that's what why we're not seeing any new products that are coming down the pipes.

Worst case scenario, Hasbro's annual Toy Fair 2012 event should be 1 month from yesterday so hopefully we'll know a lot more as of then.

Nothing worth a darn in the Nw In area.

Pretty picked over still, was at a Target and a Wally World yesterday.

I'm hoping with Toyfair and then Botcon we will get some toy news then.

If it's still sealed, I'd recommend trying it on eBay for that amount.

yea, unfortunately my ebay account is sealed at the moment... though I could just try to make a new account there, but then it would be paypal stopping me unless I create a different account with them as well.. thanks though..

I tell you, I am getting thoroughly disgusted by Hasbro's distribution network. After a few FE figs in December, no one has see anything- no Cliffjumper FE, and definitely none of the Voyager FEs which were the ones I was looking for the most. Someone needs to go there and beat up whoever is making those decisions...
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.
