I thought that was pretty low class actually.
Presidents should be respected. Period.
Their policies..eh, not so much.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

My middle name is Herbert. Big deal. Perhaps my foes will start capitalizing it to implicate I'm a Nazi.

If Bush did his job right in the first place, 9/11 would have just been another day on the calender.

As far as being proud to call myself an American. If my country dose things to make me feel ashamed in the eyes of the world *cough*Iraq war*cough* Yeah I will be ashamed to call myself American, and that is my right. So don't you DARE tell me how to feel about George W Bush the worst president ever!
hotrod1979 wrote:Why am I a Nazi? Because I believe that race and ethnicity have absolutely no place in the political process? I have a problem with Obama because he isn't qualified for the job and I don't agree with his political agenda. If Condoleeza Rice or even Colin Powell run for president I would have voted for them in a heart beat. If you don't agree with me fine. But come up with some other defense or reply other than name calling.
In Obama's defense, all the folly that is sure to ensure will not be exclusively his responsibility. Just as with past president's a lot of problems stem from within the house and senate. Until we as people grow a set, stop listening to the media, and stand up to the corrupt politicians (including Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush, etc.) and say no more, we will continue down a path that will be disastrous one. Contrary to what some people here think, I love this country and I am damn proud to be an American.

Not everything is Bush's fault....

While we're on the subject, Barack Obama is still more experienced that Sarah Palin.DavidT wrote:Don't you DARE leave Clinton out of it. He didn't do much to prevent such things as 9/11 and he even accepted partial blame for not going after Bin Laden.

Don't forget that Reagan gave funds and weapons to the Taliban.

I never called you a nazi, I was using humor to point out what you were implicating by capitalizing President Obama's middle name, Hussein. Which is that he has some kind of connection to Islamic extremists. Go ahead and re-read my post, I have it quoted below:Fender Bender wrote:hotrod1979 wrote:However, we as a nation have made a horrendous mistake with the election of Barack HUSSEIN Obama.

See, my post suggests that if I were in the public spotlight and there were those that disagreed with me, they would make it a point to try and tie my name to something I had nothing to do with. Are my ancestors German? Yes. Am I a Nazi? No. The same holds true for President Obama. Were his relatives Muslim? Yes. Is he a terrorist? No.
Please double check posts before you take offense, as you may type up a foolish rant for naught.
