Nope. I was a member of the forums for a little while to help with configurations and advice but left them for personal reasons.

And just to clarify things, my problem with Lucky's initial post was his reference to the tournament being "ill-fated".

It seems that whenever an event is held, this man has the remarkable ability to harp on about what went wrong with it, and in this case, the only thing he can find wrong with the tournament is that the results which would show HIS position have not been posted. And because of this it deserves to be labelled "ill fated"? No, it sounds selfish to me. Not to mention how sick and tired I am of events being run and having him come out and criticise everything afterwards. Sure, he may offer praise now and then, but the majority of time it's all negativity.

And people jumped on him over Glyph because he, like others, could have read the posts in the various threads on these forums. Instead he wants the bulletin page updated so that he can read it there. Sounds selfish AND lazy to me.

Do people see now others have jumped on him?

Sure... Don't see it or believe it. You continually complain about what you want to have in the game, what you want done. None of that displays a 'thinking of others' attitude.

Realisticly if any player of the game wants to be involved he or she needs to read up in this forum. Not everything needs to be posted as a news bulletin. Asking questions in this forum in a non-hostile maner gets you alot further.

Now, on organisational matters: precisely two people can post updates to the HMW front page at present, at least in the old-fashioned way. In theory any news mod can make a post that shows up in the HMW news section, but none of them are involved enough with the game to do so. I think the same two people are the only ones who can update the HMW front page spotlight.

Yes, I want to change this. It will change when Ryan and I have the time, between us, to meet up and sort out the various permissions, admin section changes and diverse other things that are required first. Then, and not before.

By the way, consider this: I had a problem which kept me off the internet for several weeks. I didn't post about it or read any threads because - duh! - I wasn't online to do so. Nobody posted to say where I was because nobody else knew, having not seen me for about as long as anyone here. When I did manage to get online briefly, I made it my priority to tell the staff (including Ryan, who'd had no contact from me) what was going on rather than working my way through all the threads in here.

As to anything else, I'll get to it when I'm able.
