And how much consultation is needed? Didn't this discussion happen months ago about helping to accommodate the sub-factions return to Seibertron.com?

Yeah, like I said earlier, I think we've pretty much covered it and have done what needs to be done, but in case we missed something, it's always good to go over the numbers again. Measure twice cut once right?

OS determined 'things as they are' wasn't going to work. I think we've beaten that horse enough times. Your own statement there indicates that the administration was willing to return to the issue if/when they saw a potential problem - be it a conflict of the subfactions with the game or vice versa.

Actually consider this. One one side you've got the sub-faction members, on the other side you've got the powers that be. Wouldn't it make sense to have a third opinion that could help both groups come to a compromise?

I can't say that I disagree with having an impartial moderator for the discussion, but who here actually qualifies as impartial? If someone thinks they are, no one is preventing them from IMing OS and asking to be involved.

I'm as impartial as it gets. I'm also a member of the RDD.

But how did he come to that determination?

This is what i've been asking for. What is the reason behind all this? There hasn't been any problems (that I know of) of late and then suddenly out of the blue a sword is placed over the heads of people.

Well yeah, finding someone impartial may be a bit of a problem as on one side you've got the arse kissers and on the other you've got the passionists.

Personally I see problems on both sides but i've made my points fairly clear in this thread.

I can however think of one person suited for the job, but I know he wouldn't want to be dragged into this and he would no doubt not be welcome by some people.

OK. This is quite enough.

Just a few parting thoughts to close this 11 page venting thread.

1. If you don't want to follow this subfaction rule or feel like your commitment to an unofficial HMW subfaction is more important than being on seibertron.com just go ahead and PM me I will go ahead and close your account now.

2. I don't give a rat's rear end where what you do outside of Seibertron.com but these unofficial subfactions will not have a place in HMW2. That's the bottom line of all this and a harsh stance is going to be required to make it happen.

3. A big thank you to several memebers of the RDD for proving (far better than I ever could have) just how much bitterness and divisiveness the unofficial subfactions can bring to the general HMW boards.

4. No more "Long Live RDD" type threads please. You can talk about me or these decisions all you want offsite. If you have that much of a problem with it I would suggest you follow point #1.

5. For all of you players that are on here to have fun and are willing to play HMW2 by the rules DON'T PANIC. There are things in the works that will make this whole conversation pointless within the next few months.
