Were you also using a Minicon?

I just don't see why it can't count towards your level, because then we can move to level 12. It opens up even MORE levels.

Just the one actually - if it counted toward your level in proportion to its effect, it would barely get you into level 12 when maxed out.

um cealus, you might want to check your maths again you only need 104 upgrades to be level 12, given how thise work that's not a particularily big investment in xp.

and again these will have a massive problem with over amping when these are finally are fully intergrated and they've work out how to abuse them.

and they really do piss all over the level system.

Yes, but Infestation wasn't and his results showed nothing different either.

Well, I'm going to see in half an hour just how badly I can rape the new system.

Too bad I didn't get 10 tons of U238 on there before sending him in.

Beg your pardon; dialect difference I guess. "Broken" is preferable terminology I suppose?

Anyway, the result, with 10Str, the Robot Ability maxed out and a +4Str Minicon, vs a 0End opponent was much less dramatic than I was afraid it would be.

Which begs the question.

"Is it working properly?"

And if it is, "What's the point of this again?" :P

I'm definitely adding more this week. With different robot types as well.

When you haven't changed your alt mode's color then the default color of your robot won't change. The robot has to know what color to be and the color value for the alt mode is null unless you change it.

I heard a rumor that you were going to make the robot modes resetable *seperately* from the rest of the character. That true?

Just an FYI when I train my robot mode the "Train" doesn't disappear when I don't have enough xp to train it anymore. Don't know if this is happening for anyone else.

will it be possible to have robot modes different colours from alt-modes? that'd be good.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

Someone finally asked the million dollar question!

Robot modes are specialized for certain abilities. Mkall suggested classifications such as: Assault-Type, Recon-Type, Melee-Type, etc. This is probably the format of types I will change it to.

When you upgrade the robot mode's "Special Abilities" you are basically making it more powerful in a certain area. The Metroplex and Metrotitan robots you have right now are specialized for strength.

Each upgrade on Metroplex's ability meter adds 1/2 point to his strength during combat. So a maxed out Metroplex could actually pack a punch of 15 strength.

Other bot types will do different things. Recon-Type will add to intelligence and stealth (and yes, intelligence will do stuff). Assault-Type will add to firepower.

This adds yet another dimension to configuring your bots.

so im guessing it won't work with default colors then

for most alt modes, if you play with the color enough, you'll find you can get if not the exact color, then really close.
