I've skipped the last eight pages, but have skimmed/read all other posts in this topic.
A few more gripes, odds & ends:
-Laserbeak talking -- wth?? LB has never talked in anything i've ever seen, so why would he now?? Ravage never spoke in ROTF -wtf?
- Still 3 movies in with tons of US and world military vehicles and troops, but no Hound? It's too hard to have 1 Jeep? A no-brainer autobot to have. What the hell were they thinking? Jeep didn't want free advertising?? They must've been high.
- 3 movies in and no seekers for Starscream? 1 other jet, let alone 2 would've been really cool to see. They could've had an aerial assault in the highway chase, not necessarily the Dreads. (which was still cool, don't get me wrong). No one likes Skywarp or Thundercracker?
- Shockwave could've been used more. Could've battled Ironhide in an epic fight & knocked each other out (instead of IH being offed by Sentinel) I wanted to see an arm cannon shooting spree. Am I wrong, or did he never even transform to tank mode the whole movie?? For the screentime he got, i wanted at least 1 transformation
The positives: I enjoyed seeing Soundwave on the ground & his voice being used, although he probably only transformed once - maybe not even at all.
Rosie HW - may not be prettier than Fox, but her acting was better, and this is good considering she's a rookie. At the end of the day, Fox may be nicer to look at, but better acting draws you into the story and helps you to feel for the character - whether you like them or not.
One more criticism, the space race/opening of the film should've been much shorter - 15 min. tops. There was at least 20 min of the film that could've been sliced off & it wouldn't have mattered - bulk of it being in the beginning. Very strange that the initial reports of the films runtime were 2h 15min or thereabouts with the real runtime being 2h 34min. On the converse, if anything were added, I would like to see the twins in the sentinel prime scene that people were talking about. Good bluray extra or deleted scene. Ah well, Bay, Hasbro, and Paramount suckered us out of another $20.
