I suspect the reason why both he and ratchet were not released individually is because they already surpassed the deluxe class they originated from. In Seige, they were the biggest deluxes in the line. And then in Earthrise, they were given the big sled accessory, already bumping them up. A few parts effects ala voyager Hot Rod and voila, voyager SS 86 Ironhide.
Moonshot wrote:Could be interesting. I pre-ordered/bought the ER Prowl/Ironhide set, so I didnt pay ebay price and a re-release doesnt bother me. Dont think Id be interested though. But what does interest me is the possibility of a SS86 Brawn this opens up. Brawn is one of my favs and he really could use an updated Cliff/Bee/Pipes type deluxe. Now that I would love and could throw money at lol.

Yes
In general? Not just in Transformers? I know RotF Sideways is one, and half of the 2007 Movie Decepticons, created just to die

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

Still not impressed.
What was interesting was that I didn’t know that at one point there were re-tooled lower legs as well as a new chest design… Which most likely got rid of some of the Siege greebling…
Now that maybe could’ve swayed me…
But looks like it never came to fruition.

Um, I don't think Mattel makes Batman anymore. McFarlane toys do the 6" collector figures and Spinmaster does the really cool looking and articulated 2.5" kids toys.

Who makes the 12 inch articulated ones?

You mean like the Sideshow or Hot Toys figures? I don't know of any articulated 12" figures, Batman or otherwise, that are mainline retail.

No, I meant the 12 inch kiddy ones that have balljoints in a bunch of places, usually in the pegs near the smaller batman figures. But turns out that's also Spinmaster right now. They look identical to the ones Mattel had been releasing. But in the end, all I meant to say was that Bumblebee is now a main character of a toy line and as with all other main characters (spidey, darth vader, he man, batman), the company will keep churning him out. And so far, they are right to do so, that Buzzworthy stuff is actually selling. Same goes for Optimus, you can never have enough Optimus Primes on shelves come holliday season, they tend to sell out.
