It looks like they did just repurpose the TR Perceptor mold for this 'new' version, minus the headmaster gimmick.
It wasn't in the movie. It's the captain's chair of the Nemesis that Megatron sat in way back in Episode 1 of the cartoon.DeathReviews wrote:Did Starscream ever actually sit in that throne in the movie?

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

All the way back in June, in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee thread.First-Aid wrote:Did I miss the pictures or reveal of the Buzzworthy Bumblebee deluxe origin figure? I don't remember it being news.

Apparently it's available through Target's website. I was kind of stunned to see the figure. Very nostalgic. https://www.target.com/p/transformers-b ... nk=sametab
Starseeker wrote:Why are the Null Ray rifles hanging from the shoulder armor like that? That's not the way it's supposed to be. Looks ridiculous. Starscream clearly still has them on his arms like normal in the movie when he blasts the trumpets.
Honestly, even though he's my favorite character, after seeing this, it's most likely a pass.
Not to mention doing so without further compromising the figure's shoulder articulation.Emerje wrote:Starseeker wrote:Why are the Null Ray rifles hanging from the shoulder armor like that? Because the shoulder pads peg into the holes making them unusable, this was the compromise they made to get his guns in roughly the right place.

It actually came out over the summer with zero fanfare since it's a Target exclusive and up to them to hype. We have a dedicated Buzzworthy Bumblebee topic you can talk about it in.

To be fair, a 3P throne will cost as much as the whole leader set ironically.

People were selling their very necessary HasLab Unicron stands on eBay, anything is possible.

Well, here's Unicron wearing two other Unicron heads:First-Aid wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Put some other head on top of it? Or even a smiley face balloon.Gauntlet101010 wrote:I mean ... what are you gonna do with that giant body?
I need to see this. SOmeone photoshop it. Maybe we'll end up with another win like with Starscream's crotch.

Sabrblade wrote:BUT, the Robots in Disguise 2001 Megatron Megabolt mold (the one based on Beast Machines Megatron's big floating head) actually sits rather snuggly on Unicron's body. I tried it both with and without the spider legs, and the legs actually help to secure it in place! The rear legs rotated upward line up rather well with Unicron's collar, the middle legs rotated to point backward wrap around the collar's front edges, and the front legs just rest on the top of Unicron's chest.
This means that one of (if not the) most accomplished Megatrons ever has a toy that can actually interact with the Unicron toy in a somewhat decent fit, allowing him to appear to possess Unicron's body, yeeeeesss.
