I just played and transformed my SS86 Snarl.
Man is that thing awesome and clever!

The bot is massive and the finished dino is a tight and chunky boy. But the transformation was not easy because of a silly part. I never saw any video review nor looked at the instructions. I wanted to DISCOVER Snarl. I was fine transforming him until the very end. The tail was in the wrong place! I was stumped. I looked at the instructions and appart closing together, the tail was still "under the dino's belly" and it won't move from its block. Even looking at the box didn't help.

Then it dawned on me... Move the legs the right way and the WHOLE BODY will be in the right position, the tail "following along".

There was a real problem though. His

on his dino head was grossly misaligned. However, I have a healthy supply of spare Reprolabels and an sharp cutter knife. That was an easy fix.

I'm very glad to have Snarl, he's effing COOL! 8-)

Now, to wait for the final member, Swoop.

Glad to hear some more good words about Snarl…
Besides getting finish combining Menasor, I’m pretty certain he’ll be the figure of the year for me.
Hopefully Amazon delivers him next month!

And I’m anxious to see Swoop as well…
I’m trying not to hype him up too much & also lower my expectations…
But that’s way easier said…

Snarl, already? I just recently finally got Sludge from a backordered preorder! lol

Maybe they should just make a Buzzworthy 5 pack of "dead" Bots and get most of them done in one shot!

That would be a 4 pack, like those before in the Buzzworthy line. If they do it, that would be the most likely scenario.

Prowl supposedly has one in his chest. Maybe it's a flip-out panel. That way we can have a shoulder intact or blown up.

Yeah that looks bad. While I don't mind the cartoon accurate colours too much, the painted bright blue windows just kill it for me, like they did with that Cliffjumper. This is an easy skip, shame too because there are days when I miss Earthrise Prowl.

Dead Prowl..., how morbid. I guess he'll come with a blast effect to plug into the peg there. Not really feeling the damaged section though and shouldn't the eyes be fiery yellow, not blue.

Yeah, that Prowl just doesn't look good. If they gave it interchangeable parts for damage, got rid of ALL the clear plastic, included the shoulder launchers, and used the Cyberverse or an entirely new mold I'd be happy. As it is, I'm buying this set for the other figure.

Yeah that look really bad, I kind of get if for its intended purpose, I guess since I'm not after damaged Prowl. But this look horribly bad like it belongs in the cheaper kids line or a 3rd party knockoff brand. Major PASS!

I don't get Hasbro's aversion to simply reissuing the bot versions a lot of us missed, yet they can cherry pick an reissues Dirge? lol I also understand that some don't much care for the ER Datsun mold and that's fine, but a simple fix would be to not cast the clear plastic parts which seems the biggest complaint.

And being tat Hasbro likes to do 2-pks with reissues, like the recent Blackarachnia vs Tigertron why is it they can't do the same for two Bots people actually want instead of two reissues that are currently on clearance?

Hasbro isn't making those, those are a Takara solo initiative that Hasbro is simply providing on Pulse, just like every Masterpiece and things like Selects Super Megatron.

We've known for a little while now that a Studio Series 86 Prowl would be coming to the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line and now we're getting our first look. Thanks to an eBay auction we have what appears to be our first look at said figure. It's unknown if Hasbro is going to call it "dead", "dying" or simply battle damaged, but what we do know is that it has a new chest and head while in usual living Prowl colors. The damaged spot on his chest appears to even have a spot for an effect part to fully recreate his demise. No word yet on exactly when we can expect this to show up in stores, but we'll be sure to let you know when we know. Thanks to Sowndwave76 for making us aware of this figure!

I can already see all the slightly different color eye stickers on his Reprolabels sheet. Maybe they'll have a pair to make headlights a bit more screen accurate too.

They should have done it over in grey, like they did with 'dead' ER Optimus. But this one's an easy pass for me. I never liked this version of the Prowl/Bluestreak/Smokescreen mold. It's too flimsy, too small, it breaks too easily, and the completely hollow legs are just offensive. I wonder why they didn't give Ironhide a dead makeover too? Or... maybe they WILL. They could remove his head completely since Megatron blasted it off.

Dead Ironhide is rumored to be the other figure in this 2-pack.
