Yeah, I have TR Scourge and Generations Scourge repping the Sweeps on my movie shelf. Gives a nice symmetry with the 2 Universe Cycloni backing up Kingdom Cyclonus.TF-fan kev777 wrote:I went 1 and 2 on Scourge and Sweeps with my TR Scourge playing the role of Lil Sweep.

I don't think so? There are tons of visual differences so it's hard to compare. Because of the way he's secured, his arm position is changed and the spoiler is no longer visible. The accessories are moved out of sight, probably under his legs. I can't tell if there's less empty space because of the additional cardboard or due to a change in package dimensions.
EE has Hot Rod being repacked with Soundwave. Though they show the earlier packaging, I suspect this is that will come with that. I'm also not convinced this is the rumored repaint since that hinge looks like the only change.

ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Sowndwave76, re: MP Rumble scaling better with G1!WFC figures than the actual SIEGE Rumble does... I agree. The same goes for G1 Rumble. Which is why it's disappointing that the G1!WFC Soundwaves can only hold the Micromaster "cassettes" and the same will probably hold true for Kingdom Blaster (wonder how hard it'll be to fix). Oh well, at least G1 Soundwave scales perfectly with the CHUG stuff.

technically he'd fit in a Voyager box, so if they're really truly trying to be greener in terms of packaging them he should come in a smaller box to reduce waste. Every Voyager I've ever opened had tons of wasted space surrounding the figure.
Personally speaking though I do like the current SS86 box as you can see the whole figure so it makes a nice display without having to open it. Which has cause me to be torn on whether to keep a set of the 86 movie figures MIB for posterity.

I mentioned this in the Buzzworthy thread and it seemed to go unnoticed, but I think that line is getting a very different Hot Rod repaint.

Nice! You're one Sweep away from a full minimum set!Wolfman Jake wrote:I checked a few Walmarts this afternoon, hoping to find Kingdom Blaster, but I scored three SS86 Sweeps instead! My pre-order with Amazon wasn't predicting delivery any sooner than mid-February. Plus, Walmart is selling Studio Series Voyagers for $26 right now. Not bad, especially for an army building figure!

I noticed it, but I'm not sure I understand it. The photo is on a deluxe package and Hot Rod is a voyager. On top of that, on the image itself, I see the color scheme, but I'm not seeing whatever part of Hot Rod you are in that image.

The package it appears on doesn't matter, all of the previous BB stuff shared the same art be it SS, Cyberverse, or Kingdom. Could even be that if that is Rodimus it represents any number of Hot Rod figures from Cyberverse Deluxe to Titans Return to an all new mold we haven't seen before, SS86 is just a theory on my part.

Nope, I'm all set with three. What's your reasoning for four?
Sowndwave76 wrote:I know it doesn't matter that much, and I personally don't care that much...
But for those who are at all interested, I took that package art into Photoshop and wanted to point out where it looks like it should be Hot Rod's or even Ironhide's ??? face/head... What I circled on the right is what I can't figure out... It looks to me like the underside of an arm, with the darker area being the shoulder, and the lighter being the underside of the forearm... But I can't think of a figure who had that oval-shaped part/piece with the two dark circles in it... ????
Of course, this could be completely off.
I may be seeing stuff that really isn't there.
