I think we won't see any SS86 till mid-year, and even then, RotB will be a good chunk of SS this year, so (thankfully) SS-86 should be a minimum this year.

We don't know the wave breakdown perfectly and it's been proven to change anyways.
But here is the full list of all SS releases in 2023 https://www.seibertron.com/transformers ... 023/47361/
Basically the counterparts to the SS 86 Ratchet and Ironhide we got in 2022 plus Snarl, Brawn and Frenzy. The only ss86 Buzzworthy release we know is Hound.

Who is it? I didn't see it on the list.william-james88 wrote:Sowndwave76 wrote:I thought there was also a 2-pk for SS86 being released in the Buzzworthy line.
Yes, there is, forgot about that one

The $52 price tag is for Coronation SS, the $25 price tags are likely for Velocitron Voyagers.

I'd say very much nil since the Amazon Wreck 'n' Rule version was apparently Hasbro's attempt at giving us a cleaned up version of the Siege Springer mold, just with extra steps taken to give us something more than just a cleaned up version.Rodimus Prime wrote:What are the chances we will see a cleaned up version of Siege Springer in SS86?
That seems equally unlikely since CW Devastator got reissued online back in 2021.Rodimus Prime wrote:Would it be considered cheating if Hasbro took CW Devastator and repackaged him in a SS86 box and sold him as the 1st SS86 titan? Or would the figures need to be modified somehow?

But his deco is different. He got gray legs. Doesn't that qualify him as a different release? What I mean is, does Hasbro expect the fans to look at that one and accept it as close enough to SS86 accuracy?Sabrblade wrote:I'd say very much nil since the Amazon Wreck 'n' Rule version was apparently Hasbro's attempt at giving us a cleaned up version of the Siege Springer mold, just with extra steps taken to give us something more than just a cleaned up version.Rodimus Prime wrote:What are the chances we will see a cleaned up version of Siege Springer in SS86?
Yeah I totally blanked on that. Oh well, it was an intriguing thought. I bet a box for SS86 Devastator would have some neat art. That seems equally unlikely since CW Devastator got reissued online back in 2021.Rodimus Prime wrote:Would it be considered cheating if Hasbro took CW Devastator and repackaged him in a SS86 box and sold him as the 1st SS86 titan? From Hasbro's perspective, they probably see it like this: They've given us both Siege Springer and Legacy Wreckers Springer as two unique options for those who want a new Springer. They gave Siege Springer a show-accuate deco, but also battle damage. They liked that, but not all of us did. So instead of just cleaning up the Siege toy like they did for Kingdom to Legacy Galvatron, they probably felt it would be more special to not just clean up the battle damage but to give Legacy Wreckers Springer a whole different deco entirely (even if it's not a show-accurate one, since they already did that for Siege Springer). Thus, they aren't letting us have our cake and eat it too, just like the big corporation that they are.Rodimus Prime wrote:But his deco is different. He got gray legs. If not just a reuse of the existing CW art (even the UW version used the same box art, just slightly colored).Rodimus Prime wrote:I bet a box for SS86 Devastator would have some neat art.

They would have thought he wasn't going to sell if they just cleaned him up and sold him in a different line? I mean, I would think a 3rd version would mean more money since it provides yet another option for some fans (like myself) and it's just a simple paint app modification. No new parts or anything. It would be a low cost operation for Hasbro. Especially since if I recall correctly Siege Springer wasn't that easy to find, since there were so many more popular characters in the WFC voyager class. Personally I only ever saw him once at Wal-Mart, and I managed to snag him only because I worked there and happened to see him right after he was put on the shelf.Sabrblade wrote:In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if Legacy Wreckers Springer happened at all because of his new deco, as if simply cleaning up the battle damage wasn't enough to pass corporate approval.

Well, SS86 Devastator could be the Takara version, with all the improvements over the Hasbro version. The current Titan price tag would fit.

It'd also be a more fitting color scheme than the CW version.
Though I think we're more likely to get a Core set of Constructicons.

I would be all in on a fun core set of constructicons.
Though he's the same size in casstte mode, he's actually taller than the Siege cassettes in robot mode:Sowndwave76 wrote:I knew he was a small figure, but I never got any Siege cassettes…
This Rumble is tiny.
Interestingly, this Rumble was made by the same TakaraTomy designer who made the MP.Sowndwave76 wrote:I have two of the MP version. Which just looks better, has more articulation, and scales better with the mainline figures…
