But hey, maybe Fracas will be one of the Battlemasters for War for Cybertron: Armageddon.

But the whole point of the Masterforce series was ordinary humans becoming giant Transformers and vice-versa. The Targetmaster toys don't work like that since the little gun guys and the larger vehicle guys are, functionally-speaking, completely autonomous from each other. As in, the guns aren't integral to the larger figures at all, whereas both the Headmaster and Powermaster/Godmaster toys were designed to require their smaller figures to achieve their proper robot modes. The idea of "Targetmaster Juniors" wouldn't make sense in the context of Masterforce since there would be no reason for a guy who turns into a gun to be necessary for a larger Transformer to properly function in robot mode since the larger TF could just let go of the gun and still be its own person.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Ugh, the "Getmaster" thing is one of the dumbest bits from the Legends manga... The "'Get on" from the Masterforce theme seems to me to be an obvious contraction of "Target on!" True, the 1988 Targetmasters wound up not getting a Masterforce release, but that doesn't mean one can't have been planned. Especially early-on, when they had such high hopes for the Pretenders.

Hence why he was only a minor character guest star.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Not everybody in Masterforce fits the "Humans" theme - just look at Sixknight.
Simple, it's Engrish. Japanese G1 songs were full of things like that. Even songs of other anime series (both back then and even to this day) use Engrish phrases like that because it sounds cool to the Japanese.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:And what other explanation contemporary with the show can you think of for the "'Get on" lyric?

Now of course this raises all sorts of read flags. I've read many descriptions stating that these are *Official product*, but then again there's all sorts of additional disclaimers about not guaranteeing the condition, and no refunds etc...
I'm always looking for a good deal. I've taken risks before, and come out OK, but I really don't want to get ripped off especially with something like this.
Just curious if anyone else is aware of this, and if they have had experiences good, bad or otherwise. Thank You.

First, I heard there were changes made to Ginrai's legs to make them tab together more sturdily. Is that true?
Second, were Ginrai's loose-aft fist holes tightened up for that set?
But Ginrai's fist holes are just as loose as ever, then?JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Now that this thread has been dug up, I have some questions about the LGEX God Ginrai giftset.

Just the ankles were retooled for a more secure fit, plus Godbomber has improved tolerances (i.e. the joints are stronger/tighter).
