The head is exactly the same but whatever, I don't really care.
And so I guess you mean takara won't be doing galaxy mode then okay, glad we are clear on that because i heard with the unification deal takara couldn't offer alternate decks without doing an entirely new figure which would would mean both galaxy modes would have to look exactly the same but no galaxy mode means no sweat.
Seriously I came here to talk toys but apparently policing language and arguing semantics are more important here. My bad, I though this was a fansite. Thank you for the clarification,

I'm going to be patient.
For now.
The heads are not the same. As JelZe Goldrabbit already pointed out, the heads are constructed differently with each having a different method for which the halves of each head are connected together. Were they each the same head then their construction would be identical, not different.bruticus24484 wrote:The head is exactly the same but whatever, I don't really care.
No, Takara releases the Siege line too, but they also have the Legends line, which is a separate line that they release on their own without Hasbro's input.bruticus24484 wrote:And so I guess you mean takara won't be doing galaxy mode then okay, glad we are clear on that because i heard with the unification deal takara couldn't offer alternate decks without doing an entirely new figure which would would mean both galaxy modes would have to look exactly the same but no galaxy mode means no sweat.
I'm sorry if you we made feel overwhelmed by our attempts to help you to better understand which products Takara is putting out and such. That wasn't our intention. We simply wish to help you to know which lines have which products and that certain similar-looking items aren't the same mold, as things like that can be very misleading and we wouldn't want to see such confusion befall our fellow fan.bruticus24484 wrote:Seriously I came here to talk toys but apparently policing language and arguing semantics are more important here. Definitely! And it looks like the other (Snap Trap, maybe?) is possibly a retool of Hun Garr? The silhouette of the legs look like they could be. And the pieces hanging off his wrists?Sabrblade wrote:Looks like Super Megatron is a retool of TR Galvatron.

Knowing the mold it's coming from, it was always gonna be letdown

All three figures feature a "Base" mode and can combine together like the legendary G1 toy. If you don't have an interest in the Japanese history of G1 this might be a pass, but for the rest of us, this set is a must-have.
