No that's just how they are. Look behind them. That's a lot of emptiness. You rotate them anyway and all those gaps are more visible. People are speculation god bomber armor but who knows.

I don't think they are supposed to be that way.

Look at the Gray prototype, the feet look different. Better.

Yes a prototype. Not the finished product. Prototypes change all the time. And when was the last time Takara showed something mistransformed? They take that stuff as an insult lol

I don't think they gave him a neck. Only the cab front is modified. It looks more like the head is just not as pushed down as far as hasbros

Y'know, the headmaster without the crown actually works on it's own decently in a weird sort of way. Not exactly an emulation of the 1986 toy head, but it's still sort of nice.

Will you look at that! Scourge is Highbrow's base design? Now about the Elita-1 from Blurr I mentioned a few post back, the possibilities are mind boggling. Why try to redesign the wheel if it's not broken why fix it? It can be done if there's a demand that is. Just like henkei Lambor/Sunstreaker. Just make the front the back or vice versa and feminize Blurr. :-?

We have more in hand images of of the Takara Transformers Legends figures that were released yesterday: Transformers Legends LG21 Hardhead and Transformers Legends LG22 Skull (Sukuru aka Skullsmasher)

These come from a variety of sources on Twitter as well as our Japan correspondant Matt, who took pictures of all sides of Skull's box. He was ¥3,530 ($34.43) at retail.

Matt also got us pictures of the comic inside and has given us a quick note on Skull(smasher's) stability:

Doesn't have any problem standing. He has fairly tight joints. The cockpit is that same soft plastic as the Hasbro version.

I updated the article with the following testimony from Matt:

It's annoying. Hasbro looks better in every way - Takara's brown just looks terrible - but I'd love to have a mouth on him.

PC monitor color images not always accurate to the real thing. That being said, both Hb and Takara look great at an initial impression.
