That's a weak excuse, they could mold more fur on the mp figure, the show version only had that because of cg constraints...

 Which sucks 'cause I love me some Beast Wars.  It looks nice, but not Masterpiece nice. It feels like a generations style update to me, and I'm not paying MP prices for a generations toy.
