I just want to know what you think shouldn't have been done.
My list:
1. Killing Megatron in the end of the first movie (he comes back right away, there was no point)
2. Killing Jazz
3. Killing Optimus (same reason as megs)
4. Killing Jetfire
He unnessecarily killed a lot of characters

Then DOTM could be about The Fallen controlling the planet, and killing thousands of people; and then DOTM could be about Bringing Optimus back so they could kill The Fallen.

I've always thought the same too

Ditto. As much as I love RotF as it turned out in the end, to see what they could have made if the writers had been allowed to finish the damn script (bloody unions) would have been interesting to say the least.

apparently he died ina movie related comic at hands of shockwave
absolute waste of pixels in the movie really
And yeah prime's death was wasted by having him come back so quickly.
If script wasnt ready, then they should have held off. Most intelligent fans would wait for a more complete movie, than one with an incomplete script
And jetfire never died in the animated series
SlyTF1 wrote:How many damn ass freking times do we have to tell you? This is not G1! Stop trying to make it seem like it is, damnit!!! Jazz never died in G1, no one complained about that not being G1 enough!
Capt.Failure wrote:4. Didn't Jetfire sacrifice himself to save the day in G1 too? That and combining with Optimus struck me more as a homage.

You need to stop taking things out of context just so you can have a rant. Shamone did nothing but correct a misunderstanding.Capt.Failure wrote:4. Millions of years later, in 1984, the Decepticons excavated the frozen Skyfire while draining heat energy from the Earth's core and reactivated him. Reunited with his old friend, Starscream, Skyfire joined the Decepticon ranks. When the Autobots arrived, Skyfire engaged in battle with them, but then saved the Autobots' human allies Sparkplug and Spike Witwicky when they became stranded on an ice floe. Naively, he took the two to Megatron under the impression that he and the other Decepticons were good, but when Megatron took them as prisoners, Skyfire started to question his allegiance. When Starscream ordered him to destroy the captured Autobot search party, he refused, and Starscream turned his weapons on him, leaving him heavily damaged. Repaired by Ratchet, he joined the Autobot side and engaged in a dogfight with Starscream which ended when he sacrificed himself to stop the core drain, burying himself in ice once again in the process.
A short time later, however, Skyfire was recovered by Wheeljack and Sideswipe, and immediately participated in an attack on the Decepticons in Peru, where the antagonists were once again attempting to use the Earth's core energy for their own means. Skyfire was almost permitted to destroy the villains' new weapon by Thundercracker, but was then blasted by Starscream and repaired with some difficulty by Spike.

Not a fan of the dorky humor and toilet jokes either.

SlyTF1 wrote: Well, Jazz was killed because Poniac didn't want their product involved in a "war movie" (A bunch of punk ass b!*ches if you ask me.) So, they killed off Jazz. They could have just changed his alt mode to a company that wasn't a complete fudge wad.

And where is your proof? This makes absolutely no sense as Pontiac was a subtary of GM and considering they had no problems with Hummer, Chevy, and GMC being involved in a war movie, i don't see why they would decide any different for Pontiac. That, and if they were so concerned with it, they never would have had the Pontiac Brand involved in the movie in the first place.

Look, I just heard that after the first movie was released.

That actually sounds more like the reason Volkswagon won't allow Hasbro to use their cars for a Bumblebee figure awhile back. They're a German company and their country is heavily into censorship of violence after all.
