Oh, and I'm totes having fun with these figures. It's great to get them out and be ridiculous.

Soooooooooooo in figure news. We have heard I rediscovered the awesomeness that is the MP seeker line. I think I may be ordering some Reprolabels for the ones I have!! :shock:

ALSO!! Apollyon. After last weeks fun with floor polish I decided I'd take it a step further, and paint his face!! Sunday involved a trip to Michael's crafts, where I picked up two Testor's Acrylic hobby paint sets. I tested out flat light gray first..

Didn't like it, too dark. So I lightened it up with some flat white mixed with the flat gray in the provided tray!

HMFSY that looks GOOD!! I mean, dang cram!! Also, HMFSY = heck mother flippin' shirt yeah. Change the words to the variants of your choice.

Unfortunately, tragedy struck and as Homestar Runner says "the good times are overrrrrrr!"

Proud of my work, I decided some action poses with Starscream and Soundwave and Shockwave were needed. Apollyon thought this would be a good idea instead.

So after crying about it to Cobotron and Shajaki and Carytheone, and taking a suggestion I had thought of but had reinforced, I contacted BBTS. APPARENTLY, they still had some parts left over from the myriad of issues that various Apollyon's faced! So, after paying for shipping, I'll have SOME PART of an Apollyon headed my way to help me fix my now broken but still awesome looking Apollyon!! WOOOOOOOOO!!

Well I was holding his torso while I was re-positioning his feet (the barrel of the gun on his back is diecast and throws his balance off sometimes), then I put him on the carpet and turned him at the waist and he fell off in to my hand :-(

My wife said I looked super defeated and sad, as I had been so proud of all the time I had put into the figure recently, including just finishing painting his face. Basically, I'm doing all of this work to this figure to PREVENT me from buying one of the other 3rd Party Megatrons. Although, if that "official 2.0" version never sees the light of day and a company decides to produce it on their own, a'la Reximus Prime, I'll buy it. And one for posterity.

REGARDLESS!!

I think I may have more painting in my future. Along with Reprolabels.

Holy man, Apollyon shouldn't try to duplicate Dark Cybertron. He'll end up an Autobot and standing with Optimus if he keeps this up! :lol:

Pollyanna was a really good figure. My only complaint were the leg kibble and extreme complexity of transformation, both of which I could easily ignore.

I simply like Despy much better. I wish you luck and joy with your repair job my friend.

You should give your Apollyon some face paint!! And I agree with all of your statements :lol:

My only real complaint now is the few parts that seem stressed, and the fact that he broke in the middle :lol:

Definitely some forgivable issues, transformation not really being forgivable for me. SO! If i CAN build a perfectly functioning transformable Apollyon, I'll be content again. BUT if he breaks again, I'll have some soul searching to do! I need an MP Megatron! :lol:

So I initially hoped my order of TR Wolfwire and Highbrow would've been in time to be here tomorrow but apparently not. I'm also not totally convinced my Apollyon parts will be here tomorrow. Either way, it'll be a great weekend!
