I dunno, season 1 was pretty dark as it is. Or at least, episodes 1, 2, 4, 7, and 16 were, with the best episodes (12, 13, 14, 17, 19, 20, 22, and 23) also having some dark tones to them. The problem with the other episodes isn't their lack of darkness, but their lack of engagement. There doesn't need to be more "darkness", but rather, more "gravitas". Gravitas is what made shows like Beast Wars, Animated, Masterforce, Beast Machines, and others so good. Thus far, Prime has only really granted this aspect to a few of its plots and characters (most of which began with the amazing episode 12), but it has improved since. Hopefully, we can get more of this in season 2, cuz it's what can help make this show a winner.Zequem wrote:I have this feeling after watching the teaser of "One Shall Rise" that Season 2 will be pretty dark compared to Season 1. Well, at least I'm hoping so. It would be a waste to bring Unicron now and kill him off immediately.
One more week for new episode. I can't wait!

Part of me wants to head to Youtube right now and watch the remaining two episodes, but the other part welcomes the anticipation. Can't wait to see Unicron!

There's three more episodes, and none of them are on YouTube.

The first part of "One Shall Fall" is. It is part 1 of 3 last episodes of the series. It covers episodes 24, 25 and 26. So yes, there are only two more episodes if you are following the series weekly either by the Hub, Teletoons or youtube.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
Yes. "One Shall Fall" is episode 23. "One Shall Rise" is the three-part finale consisting of episodes 24, 25, and 26.Dead Metal wrote:LadyBug wrote:Shadowman wrote:5150 Cruiser wrote:Incredible. The 3 parter is entitled "One shall Rise", one shall fall is the episode before that.

Well, that was certainly interesting, wasn't it? I'm liking the concept of Unicron being surrounded by Earth. I've never heard of that storyline being used in any of the continuities. Also, didn't expect such an early physical confrontation between Optimus and what I'm calling Unicron's Heralds. It will be interesting to see how this all develops, and what role Megatron will play in the outcome...
iaconportland wrote:One thing: What on earth (no pun intended) made Optimus thought Unicron would bow to logic and reason? Maybe we should rename him "Optimist" Prime...lol

It's more complicated than that. He's not Earth, and Earth isn't him. The line is pretty blurry, though. Optimus DID say that Unicron most likely no longer has or needs physical form, which actually explains everything. Remember, in the old version of their backstory, Primus and Unicron didn't have physical form when they ended up trapped in those asteroids, but over time, learned to control them. This actually explained how Unicron can make avatars out of bits of the Earth.
Tune in next week when I'm proven completely wrong about this.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the series explained that unicrons drifting body attracted all different kinds of minerals, making the earth. That was the point I was making. Never saw THAT in a marvel comic
